Lakeside Computers

I came into Lakeside Computer to get my laptop repaired. I was greated very friendly and quickly explained potential causes to my problem. I was told the process for repair along with prices. I was offered a new drive and was explained the type of harddrive and the pros and cons of the hardware. I expressed that I needed as much of the files as they could get off the old hardrive. They said they would do thier best to get as much info off the old drive as the could. I was told they would have it done as soon as possible. They were done the next day and managed to get all my information off my old drive. They explained what had happened and that they had got all but 4 insignificant files off the drive. They were very proffessional and very resonably price. I would recommend Lakeside Computer to anyone in the Cold Lake area in need of computer assistance.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.We brought our computer for a fan grinding problem, they kept it 2 weeks. When they returned it, the computer did not recognize the GPU anymore. They refused to take responsibility.We then sent the computer to ASUS for diagnosis, and they told us that adding to the GPU problem, the fan grinding was also still there.So we got robbed of 337$ for the fan parts and repairs, and we lost a 1200$ computer in the process.EDIT : as an answer to the owner saying he wants to improve, if you want to improve, I would very well liked to be reimbursed, that would be a nice start.And yes you have 9 good reviews, but let me tell you, 1 on 10 chances to lose 1500$ by going to you, is definitely not worth trying your shop.
