I purchased the latest Saucony Hurricane 22 runners in mid-August ($194.95 + tax) and they started falling apart after two months. I finally went in two weeks ago WITH my receipt and original box to see if there was something they could do about it. The manager was not only unhelpful, but was also condescending and offensive. He told me that he would not believe that these shoes were three months old had I not brought the receipt (aka I'm lying), and then asked if the receipt I had were indeed for those shoes. I was infuriated, but politely said that these shoes were the latest model that were released this summer, so yes, I was certain it was for these shoes. After more discussion where he proceeded to tell me how rough I was on my shoes, that I should not be running outside on the gravel trails (e.g. Colony Farms or the Coquitlam Crunch), and how I should treat my expensive shoes with the respect they deserve". I have never been so disrespected in a store before by a manager. He said he wouldn't do anything about the shoes themselves

Nice little store with a good collection of running shoes. I was able to try on a pair of New Balance 880 v12 which I couldn't find in big chain stores like SportChek.

We have visited this store on 3 occasions for good quality running shoes and track shoes. The staff do not greet us, speak to us or provide assistance unless specifically requested. Each time we’ve asked questions we’ve experience a significant lack of knowledge on the staffs’ part. The 1 star rating is given only because it is required in order to post a review. We strongly recommend the Runners’ Den in Port Moody as they are beyond knowledgeable AND friendly, always surpassing expectations.

I brought my Mom here to find a comfortable pair of running shoes for her hard to fit feet. The staff is phenomenal. Knowledgeable, kind and patient. What great customer service. I hope the owner appreciates them because my family will return here for shoes in the future! Thank you :)

I visited the store on Saturday 5/12 and received great customer service from Owen and Nathan. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have high arch and suffer from balls of feet pain. They recommended a few pairs of shoes to me. I am very happy with my shopping experience. I will highly recommend this store to my friends.

I came in less than a week ago looking for insoles. The employee had zero knowledge about insoles and was unable to help me figure out which ones were suitable to my needs. I needed a pair right away so I just picked a pair and it turns out they don’t help me at all. The insoles needed to be cut to fit the shoe (as indicated by the manufacturer) so I can’t get a refund as per the store policy because they’re clearly not in “new condition”. If only the employee had been able to point me to the right insoles in the first place, I wouldn’t have this problem. So now I’m out the $60 pair of insoles, I’ll have to buy another pair and I have no recourse.

I have bought many pairs of shoes at this location, always with excellent service. Today being the exception. I was greeted and chose to look at some shoes first because I’m transitioning from running to walking. When I approached the counter to ask my questions, another customer walked ahead of me, said he wanted to buy shoes and was taken ahead of me. So I left without buying my intended purchase.
