Bear Creek Nature Park
Amazing place to go for hikes. Not very many people use the site, which is a bonus as you are less likely to run into the type of people who trash wildlife protected trails and parks with tent cities- common in some nearby towns

Bear Creek Nature Park
Great place to hike with the dogs, check out the salmon and get a really good leg workout going down and then coming back up that hill

Beautiful place especially in winter and fall. It's a damn shame that people feel the needs to put out their cigarettes on the trail.. Especially when fire risk is high.. Even an eye shot away from property. But beautiful otherwise. Also remember to pack out what you pack in please.

A fantastic hidden away park with gorgeous trails along the Oyster River. The climb back to the car at the end of your walk will get your blood pumping for sure.

It is an extremely beautiful park to explore. Walk by the creek, or along the river. Great for biking too. It's also the oyster river fish hatchery, so there is a small chance a member of the ORES (Oyster River Enhancement Society) may drive down the main road for routine work/chores. On Tuesday mornings it is their volunteer day so expect more vehicles possibly driving down. This is also a good little park for cycling as well as a moderate hike. The only problem that makes me rate this park 4 stars is the steep hill you have to climb down and up at the parking lot. Beautiful park, if you don't mind a steep hill, this is a great place to go. There is also a picnic table onlooking the river near the end of the park for your family to eat at for lunch.

Interesting for the salmon hatchery but there are much better hiking trails nearby.

Stunning natural ecosystem-- rivers meandering alongside trails, ferns and trees and snails and birds! You can get joyfully lost in here for hours. Tons of spots to watch the Salmon life cycle too! Thank you Enhancement Society! One pit toilet available towards the top of the park. Most of the trails are wide enough for two people and levelled with gravel. The smaller trails are mulch and one-person wide. The trail signs are newly added and super helpful! Dog friendly, but keep them on a leash! :)All the trails are mostly flat, except one downhill at the beginning (which of course is an uphill at the end!)

Wonderful place to see nature. So much to see great for a walk. Salmon are swimming up now and it's neat to watch them in the fish ladder. The colours of the leaves are beautiful and lots of fungus to see as well. Definitely worth a visit if you have never been. It was my first time and I will definitely go back.
