I love the food but my last experience was not good sat at a table for 10 min and waitress was ignoring us served the people who came in right after us but didn't serve us then went all the way around the floor to check on other patrons when she could have walked straight in front of us avoiding us. Was not happy and walked out to come to BPs instead. Need a better waitress that's for sure.

Would be nice to hear a hello and thank you from the bar staff. As a VLT player I felt like the money I spent did not warrant the same consideration as the drinking crowd.

While Smittys is an excellent family oriented restaurant, the hideaway lounge is geared more towards an adult crowd. Slot machines, a pool table and a very good drink selection makes the hideaway a great stop after a long day. Not to mention the very friendly bartenders will prevent any patron from dying of thirst.

Had a meal it was a lounge in a Smitty's restaurant food was great had a lemon pie milk shake it was Fantabulous!!!

Absolutely disgusted by the racism from the staff that permeates this dive bar. I myself have waited standing at the bar for over 20minutes for service from a well known bartender. She made eye contact and continued chatting with her sister while I waited to buy one drink. I also was with a native friend that was treated even worse. The slow service would be understandable if it had been a busy night. There was however a max of 6 or 7 other people. So after I got a drink I watched as the Smitty's sisters laugh and snicker at other girls and took their time serving specific customers. The manager was well aware as he was sitting and drinking with other staff/clientele. I haven't returned since . It was a disappointment that's for sure.

Well it's definitely the best pub/bar in the St. Paul area. I usually always have a fun time, 2 pool tables. Drinks could be priced a little more reasonably for a small town pub.

***Updated review. Less one star from the previous. ***The Manager was super rude to us after we refused his special drinks he wanted us to order. Then we asked if they had boneless chicken wings and he said we should go to BPs...So we ordered something different and 10 mins later says he doesnt have that. So then we ordered something else and he also said he didnt have that. Then I said ok, we will go eat elsewhere if you are out of so many items, and he K FINE SEE YA THEN.Super rude, will not return if that Manager still works there. We are local and have never been treated that bad here in our lives.Not to mention he wasn't wearing a mask nor gloves, during a pandemic and there were no distancing measures put into place on tables.

Friendly relaxed environment. Tess was our server and she was excellent. She helped create an overall more exciting and positive night going above and beyond the usual great service!
