I've never had a server tell me that I was wrong when I told them the food they gave me wasn't what I ordered. And then to stop coming back to the table after that and having to go and ask for the bill because it was at least half an hour since we saw them.I don't even understand them taking offense to my request for what I ordered? Absolutely bonkers experience to have at a place I've been going to since it opened.I will 100% tell everyone to avoid going here from now on. And the Beer Hunter was my go-to place for wing Wednesday and I've always asked people to meetup there. Last time I ever go.

My girlfriend and I were driving back home after a drive out towards Jasper, and wanted to grab a late dinner somewhere, we did a quick search for Spruce Grove restaurants, looked at a few reviews for a few places, and decided on Beer Hunter.The menu was pretty large, and had a good variety of dishes on offer. There were, of course, drink specials, including $5 shots of Jameson's, in addition to their selection of Craft, Import and Domestic beers. I decided on Prairie Fairie, by Edmonton's Sea Change Brewery, which I've had several times previously. It's delicious, if you haven't, consider trying it.I ordered a Canadian Hunter burger, which is topped with cheese, onion tanglers, bacon, back bacon, I requested it on texas toast and added caramelized onions, with donar poutine as a side, and it was one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a while.My girlfriend had their mac and cheese, which I sampled. The noodles were al dente, the sauce was flavourful, creamy and perfect consistency, and the cheese topping was portioned very well.Presentation was on point.Our server/bartender was very friendly, attentive, personable and clearly very good at their job.The prices are very fair, considering the portion sizes, overall quality, and the level of service.Both the front and back of house here are doing a hell of a job.We will definitely be back.

Came here after getting back from a camping trip. Got there a little late so only had a limited menu but that's alright we ordered some wings flatbread and nachos wings were pretty good flatbread was good the nachos well I think it's safe to say they are the best nachos I have had in Spruce Grove/Stony Plain in a long time. Our waitress was new and still learning a few things which was fine by us it gave her a chance to learn as well about some drinks and what not.The atmosphere was nice definitely thought they would be playing nothing but county but I was wrong :) the music was also not overly loud could actually have a conversation! Definitely coming back for nachos!

Food and service were excellent. My partner and I each got a burger and were extremely happy with them. I intend to make this a common spot to stop off at when returning from the city.

Decided to finally stop in and give the beer hunter a try after hearing great reviews about their chicken wings. ( even from people who only tried them via delivery services. let’s just say they were a soy delicious. hot flavourful juicy everything a chick wing should be.was still hungry so i decided to get a canadian hunter burger to go. ended up reheating 4 hours later. and even after. it was absolutely amazing.i’ll make sure to stop again and get one that i didn’t microwave and i’m sure it will be even better.great job to the who ever created this superior masterpiece.

I love this great little local place- consistently great food, great atmosphere and great service. Julie is my usual server and always so quick, knows you and your usual order, and makes you feel so welcome- she manages the whole place so well! I love popping in on a few night when you just don’t want to cook. Great work and thanks for the wonderful service!

The service was excellent. I had the fish tacos which were tasty but messy and dripping everywhere. It also seemed that they needed a bit more of something in them other than fish and sauce. The lettuce wraps were also good. I felt they would be improved by more spice and a bit less sugar.

Very disappointing to see TBH nosedive.We typically order pickup, as delivery services take up to 25% from the restaurant.Our last order was a mess. Instructions on items not wanted were ignored, Asian noodle dish had no sauce, and who sends out poutine without gravy??New cook? New mgmt? Not sure, but I'd use a delivery service. At least you can get credit for missing items.UPDATE: Of the last 5 orders, mistakes on ALL, including NO gravy for poutine?? THREE TIMES!Unless you're ordering in, DON'T!NO quality control at all here at all.What used to be the best fries in town, are now a box of undercooked potato slop.
