Service is actually great , never had any problems and always met my needs , only thing I have had issues with is on a few occasions my card would stop working because the system would decide that it is unusual " for certain E transfers I was doing

Booked an appointment to open up a new chequing account (I do not bank with BMO) on May 3 in the evening, for May 9 at 4:30pm. I received an email confirmation that the appointment was good to go. Well, today (on May 9), I received an email in the morning stating that the original gentleman wasn't available but that I would see a different gentleman, but the time would be the same. Shortly after the email, I receive a phone call from the new gentleman stating that the original guy was on training cuz he no longer worked in that department and that he could not accommodate my appointment, and asked if I could rebook, and if not then 'Oh well'....So, you originally book me for a guy that isn't working there anymore, rebook me with a new guy that can't accommodate the time, and then ask me if I can accommodate you?Doesn't work in my book! If they treat their new customers like this, I wonder, how do they treat their existing customers? I know this, a new customer, I will not be!!!

You need to keep your hand sanitizer dispensers filled. Neither one was working today. Sept. 14. A dispenser needs to be front and centre so customers can sanize their hand after having opened the door. It is off to the side, quite hidden from view. Each wicket needs to have sanitizer as well. Clean the door glass and clean the ATM.

After doing some research about the banks and their small business accounts I chose BMO as I had learned their goals are too support small entrepreneurs in small businesses with an emphasis on females. All of my accounts are at another bank. I called and left a message on Monday to book an appointment to open the account. Left a voicemail as no one answered. Received a response late Tuesday from someone named Donya with possible dates and times on my voicemail. Called back, got a voicemail and confirmed a potential time asking them to confirm with me. I heard nothing back at all. Here is the irony: My Consulting business helps companies to ensure remarkability to survive as a brand in this commoditized world where the internet readily exposes poor business practices.Good luck BMO. That kind of continued customer service will eventually see BMO close their doors, losing valuable customers to those who wish to treat every customer like it's their only one. Remarkability and customer centricity is the only way you will survive.

Had horrible experience in Customer service - the front teller. I previously only dealt by only advisors via appointments at this location and experiences have been helpful however today I came to make an appointment and the lady at teller customer service constantly gave frustrating gestures upon any question I asked and made feel stupid for asking questions with her eye rolls. I made an appointment with someone to better help me when leaving it came to mind to get clarity on what she said about online banking access- I hadn’t even moved 3 steps back and the other customer moved forward so she told me to get in the back of line. I have never been made felt less than when asking questions at a bank. The lack of professionalism really showed. I have other accounts at Scotiabank the customer service of the tellers between the banks is worlds apart. If I’m future I see changes in customer service experience I will change my review however todays experience was uncalled.

BMO is a terrible bank and this branch is horribly run. I waited in line for well over a half hour on Friday, September 2, 2022 to put in a request to withdrawal a some of money from my BMO bank account. God forbid the bank actually has money at their disposal but apparently not. You are required to wait 4 business days after making a request, why, I don’t know but I put in my request and indicated I won’t be able to make the pick up until Saturday, September 10. When I arrived today, they had no record of my request and have no money available in the bank. This system is broken, this is now the second time this has happened to me since August 2022. Last time it took me 14 days to get my own money out of BMO, not borrowed money, my actually money. They’ve indicated to me that I can pick up my own money on Wednesday, September 14. I asked for any sort of receipt of this request/transaction, that I may use as proof on Wednesday that I made this request, for a second time and there’s nothing they can provide, I just have to take their word for it. Honour system apparently. This goes without saying but I’m going to say it anyway, horrible system, horribly managed bank and I would not recommend BMO, especially this Whitby branch. I’m done with BMO and they’re incompetence.

Horrible experience, I am sad that I choose BMO over TD.No matter how many times you call and leave voice message no one will be bothered to call you. The representative work here are not bothered to answer your call or reply to your email. I am taking my business to some other bank who care and listen to their customers.
