Quaint Korean restaurant on Sainte-Catherine. The place gets packed pretty quickly, but their waiting list system via text is very efficient. Had the seafood pancake, sweet/spicy chicken, and soju mojito which did not disappoint. Only thing to note is that the side dishes (banchan) were available at an additional cost - see menu photos already posted for more information - not necessarily a deal breaker, but important to mention. A great dining experience overall!

Sam Cha offers a good selection of food at a reasonable price. The broth were amazing and the service was fast considering the long line up. The alcoholic beverage was excellent.

It was a good experience. Food was delicious & service crew were attentive and alert. It was a fun-filled dinner with family and friends. I love their kimchi and radish salad and the ice cream after meal. The only thing to consider before going is to make sure you call a day before for a group reservation. Since there is a waiting list. It will take longer to wait compared to a 2 person dining.

I could give this place a perfect 5-star rating, but it’s a 3 star for now till my next visit maybe next month!I'm a regular at SamCha (weekly visit) and always the first one in line because their food is so delicious and flavorful. However, I'm a bit let down by the service. While the dishes themselves are enjoyable, the staff can be inattentive and unaccommodating at times. During my recent visit, we were seated second in line, but our order was taken 20 minutes later after all the tables were full and even after those who came in after us had already started their appetizers. On a previous occasion, we even received one of our appetizers after our main course. Despite these issues, I still recommend the restaurant for the quality of their cuisine, but just be prepared for mediocre service.One recommendation: The bathroom really needed to be renovated!My favourite dish: Bulgogi, Sweet chickie, Kimchi Pancake, Bibimbap,Dupbap

Love love love this restaurant so much. They have some of the best chicken stews and curry chicken! Great ambiance and of course service is always always amazing.

I enjoyed the yakki udon that I had. It came in a hot stone bowl, it has oyster sauce and tasted as I expected, although a little too oily. It is a generous portion. The service was friendly but I would have preferred to sit in the main dining area. The one in the back didn't have any atmosphere at all. We didn't try the barbecue meal but I could see that it's a popular meal since many people were having it. All in all it was a good experience but you leave the place smelling of food :( . I might go again to try other dishes.

Wow, really good restaurant. They serve table Korean bbq on camping stoves. Not expensive either. I love the vibe and the staff are awesome

Authentic Korean restaurant! Bibimbop, fried chicken and tteokboki were great. Friendly staffs and such a cozy vibe. Rice wine was also awesome
