John Blumberg Golf Course

Over-priced. Greens are terrible. Might see beer cart twice a round. Same price all day which is ludicrous.They charge $ for divot repair tools but once you see the greens divots are fraction of the problem. A small investment into the course would go a long way.

Good course with decent distance for most holes. Fairly open with not a lot of tress around. Probably won’t lose many balls if you’re a terrible golfer like myself. It’s right next to the river so expect bugs and lots of geese around spring and fall.

A city owned course that they have tried to unload in the past and it shows. Course has both an 18 and a 9 hole Course, a driving range and a putting green. The golf course is run by dn outside company. Course is open and flat, reminds me of videos from courses I see in Britain and Scotland, but nowhere near in comparison. Clubhouse is old and provides what is needed. Restaurant.....not sure if is even open. Power carts are old and slow, almost faster to use my push cart. The city wants to unload it and it shows which is a shame. A little investment could go a long way to changing from a 2 star to a 3 or even a 4 star.

The course was quite nice and enjoyed my time golfing, there were some muddy spots and water spots. we were rushed even though there were many groups ahead of us when we couldn’t golf, other golfers would tee off when i was halfway down the fairway.3.5/5

Staff were very friendly and helpful if you had questions or anything. Driving range is fairly nice with good indicators for yardage and well spaced out mats. The putting green was well taken care of and a fair size. Prices were reasonable and abit below average costs across the city. The 9 hole course is fairly forgiving and a great beginners course tho do watch out for the 6th 7th and 9th holes as they can be abit tricky. Food and beverages were well priced and tasted good. Over all the course was a nice and relaxing experience with the girlfriend. Would recommend to friends and family.

Course is in good to okay shape considering the severe drought were in and combined with how the course used to look. Greens are coming along nice. Staff were very friendly, pace of play was good it wasn't slow when we went. All in all I would golf here again.

Poorly maintained course. No difference between rough and fairway. Due to poor management of tee times, Marshall rushed us (beginners) through the course despite finishing 18 holes in 4 hours and was very rude.

Very enjoyable 9 and 18 hole round of golf. Greens are in good shape.

Before we could enter the proshop, a man and women outside smoking, wearing no uniforms stopped us and told me I couldn’t golf with my boyfriend. They questioned us and they told us I needed my own clubs to golf. I didn’t know they worked there so I informed them we had been there multiple times this summer and had no issues any prior times. They were rude and unprofessional as they assumed I wasn’t going to pay for my round, and they sent us away. An overall quick and unpleasant experience.
