Maritime Bus Halifax Terminal

Called no answer. Whats the point of listing a number if your employees don't pick up the phone ??

Didn't answer their phone while I was trying to tell them I was 5 minutes out from the bus station (I called 4 times), directly resulting in me getting stranded in Halifax on a Monday with no way home to my little town til Wednesday. Icing on the cake was no refunds, only vouchers.Staff were at least okay if not very helpful due to being tied up by terrible company policies and low tech equipment. I want to stress very hard that this is the fault of the company, not the staff, and their current monopoly on affordable ways between my town and HalI fax needs to end.Would literally rather walk down the highway than use them again.

Bought a ticket for Christmas, but due to Covid-19, travelling wasn't safe. Requested a refund to my card but they refused and only offered a gift card. Also, they didn't return the tax I paid, they kept the HST. Highly unprofessional, revisit your customer policies this is ridiculous.

Worst bus company in the province. Don't care about customers at all. Avoided at all cost because it will cost you.

Worst experience ever !!!!! THE BUS DRIVER LEFT ME AND MY FRIEND IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Our bus driver stop at the subway in Perth Andover before we even got out the bus we asked if it was okay for us to get some food as we didn’t eat all day the driver said yes that’s fine. Usually before leaving the driver always count if everybody’s back for some reason this time he didn’t. As we get out of the subway we realized the bus left my first reaction is to call the company, I called the Halifax branch the guy who answered said yes not sure what to do so he gave me the head office number. I called them and at first they were trying to put the blame on me after arguing for 2-3min the lady tells me she’s find a solution and will call me back within 5m which she did. The bus driver took at least 45m to come back. This man was so rude I can’t even believe he left us when I got back in the bus I asked him why he did that, I told him that wasn’t really nice and he wouldn’t even look at me nor did he even answer me. It’s not my first time taking the bus to go back home in Montreal so I know exactly how it works if people get out of the bus the are supposed to count to make sure everyone is back. What he did was mean and incentive. It was really the worst bus experience of my life and I don’t recommend this bus company. If you do decide to go with maritime bus make sure you don’t get out of the bus even if you’re starving it could cost your place on the bus.

My experience sending parcels with Maritime Bus has been wonderful! The staff (especially the gentleman who works the front desk) is so great. Always helps me lift my parcels into the depot and onto the scale. The bus drivers always handle my parcels with care and they arrive on time and intact. Quickest most efficient company to send your parcels!

The bus station is now in the actual train station with its own stall. Very nice location.

I've been using Maritime bus for quite some time now and fairly often. I have never had an issue with the drivers or staff being rude, buses are fairly clean, had an incident and the driver took the time to actually address it. I would like to give a huge thank you to Ellie who works at the Truro location and David Chisolm the bus driver. The amount of kindness both of these individuals shared with me is something I will never forget and am so appreciative. Thank you so much.

First time on the bus 3 weeks ago. Very pleased and will use their service again!

Traveled 2 times and never had an issue
