Took me five minutes to find a reasonably priced breathable water resistant pant ($65) to wear over my pants... Obviously very basic, but I just needed something to block the wind and wet while camping. If you need help, they seemed a bit short on staff today, but it was Easter Monday.

Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had in a store in a very long time. Jeff was easily the most helpful associate I’ve ever encountered. When I say he had me try on every hiking boot in the store until I found one I loved, I really mean it. Not only that, but then with the unreal up sell to buying proper hiking socks. And then while on the topic of merino wool, talked me into a new shirt and a new sweater. Man, that guy could sell sand in a desert and make me feel good about spending that money. Anyways, I hiked 60km in four days and felt great the whole time. Thanks Jeff. You a real one my dude. 10/10 would return.

I had not one, but two staff stop by and ask if i needed help with hiking socks. There was a lot of selection - they explained how the section was organized, and help me find what would work for me.

Went in, long time customer….looking for a specific item! Was surrounded by 2 male customers! Sales associate asks the two men if he can help them and just looks past me! Is this the 50’s?? I was 3 feet from him! He turned his back and walked away!! I was about to get his attention and decided to spend my money elsewhere!!! Smarten up MEC!!!

I feel as though the mec branded items are overpriced for the quality you get. I also think the staff could have done better answering my questions.

Seems like a good selection in the store. Great customer service experience. The staff seem to actually enjoy being there and the one gentleman was very helpful in giving advice on specific shoes to pick for a trip.

After a very unpleasant and unproductive visit to Trek store, I drove up the road to MEC to try to get the fenders I was looking for.As I got in pushing the bike, I was greeted by a sales associate, very pleasant and friendly person, and shown to the bike department. James, the associate in this department greeted me, found the fender size I was looking for, partially unpacked them to reassure myself that they will work on my bike.The fenders are on and fitting perfectly as expected.Great store, great service. Going back when ever the bike needs anything. Highly recommend.
