I did many trials with different MUAs and chose her in the end as she can quickly grasp what it is that you want and helps you to enhance your features in a natural and beautiful way. You will feel comfortable on the day of your wedding without being turned into someone with 10 pounds of cakey make up and making your guests go who the heck is this?" Chen Chen was the makeup artist and hairstylist for my wedding. I was certain to go with her for my wedding day after my makeup trial session. I was worried about my eyes being uneven (one double eyelid, one droopy monolid), but she made my eyes look so natural and identical. I received a lot of complements for my wedding. The other great thing about her is that she is super punctual, reliable and responds to all my messages fast. As a bride, I just couldn't stop being worried about vendors not showing up. But with Chenchen, I had zero worry. I would ask her to do my makeup for my wedding reception when COVID is over.

I was looking for a makeup artist for my wedding in August and found ChenChen on Instagram. I almost decided to go with her directly for the wedding without makeup trial just by looking at her past works. But thinking I had an engagement photo shoot coming up, I thought that was a great opportunity to do the trial. She was way beyond my expectations. She listened to what I roughly described and the makeup style she did was natural and elegant exactly what I imagined. Our engagement photographer had a very natural style of shooting without posing us so I was concerned some angles would be less flattering. All the pictures came back amazing and I feel that it was in large part due to ChenChen’s flawless job with my makeup and hair. Her work is incredible. Highly recommended!

I could not be happier with Chen Chen's work on my big day. She is extremely easy to work with and does not hesitate to go above and beyond to make your day perfect. She took notes after our trial session and made sure every concern of mine was addressed on the day off. She sent a reminder the night before to make sure i use a mask and have a good rest. She also went above and beyond helping with photography and videography. She was excellent in managing the time since we have couple of people who needed the service. I was really happy with my looks and thanks to Chen Chen for that! I would not recommend anyone else other than Chen Chen to be your wedding makeup artist!

Chen Chen was absolutely amazing and professional for all aspects of her service before, leading up to, and during the wedding day. Her and her team is highly competent and also great listeners! The reason why I emphasize on listening is because lots of make-up artists will keep to the style of make-up they are most comfortable doing which may not always be the style that is best suited for you or your personal style. Chen Chen and her team will listen to what style you want and prefer, and they will cater to what your style is, making you beautiful on your wedding day! Although the focus is on the bride, she will also make an effort to ensure that your mom, sister, mother-in law, maid of honor, bridesmaids, are all looking beautiful as well :)I highly recommend Chen Chen, not only is her make up technique great, she is also very personable, friendly and emits a very positive attitude which is the perfect energy to be surrounded by on your big day :)Thank you Chen Chen! x.

Chen Chen was my makeup artist for my pre-wedding photo shoot and also for my wedding day. Her makeup style is quite natural and aims to bring out your natural beauty / facial features vs being overly dramatic. I loved the makeup she had on me for both the pre-wedding and for my wedding. Chen Chen has made me so beautiful on my Wedding Day. I don't think I've ever looked so gorgeous before. If only I can look like this everyday.During the makeup trial Chen Chen suggested I colour my hair to enhance the texture and inspired me to wear colour contacts to enlarge my eyes. Although I was at first unsure about the dramatic eyelashes, I'm so glad I trusted her to help me look my best.She also helped even out my eyelids (which I didn't even know was possible!)She works very fast. She did my makeup and intricate updo in less than 2 hours. And my 2nd style was done in 45 mins.Her attention to details is superb. I highly highly recommend her.
