Seriously useless, unless you are a dweeb. Under the guise of in home help, they are there to make money the Best Buy way

Called the store to get four screws that did not come with my Smart TV to attach the legs. There is no way to get hold of the local store!. Can't get hold of the Geek Squad". Totally unresponsive to client needs."

I would not recommend GEEK SQAD anyone. They have the WORST service. We bought our TV from BEST BUY and the sales person sold us the GEEK SQAUD extended warranty on our TV. We were told we can contact Geek Squad in the BEST BUY store for any TV repairs or issues. Now when our TV is giving issues, we contacted the GEEK SQAUD in store and they said they cannot handle any TV related issue and I have to make a claim online or call GEEK squad protection. After calling GEEK SQAUD they have assigned the warranty claim to a third party 'Hi-Tek Electronics' and we have not received any answer for 4 weeks now. I have been just calling them and only thing they say that it will take 3 to 5 business days to handle the request (it has been over a month now). DO NOT FALL FOR GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION! They are completely useless. They dont even deserve one Star!

had a month long battle with them to get my computer repaired when they quoted me just over a week to do it, hidden fees in small fine print that they never mentioned, after a month they finally told me my computer was not repairable so I finished in the same place I had started. Sent it directly to Asus who used express shipping and had it repaired in under a week and back to me days later.

Absolutely terrible. Not only did both employees take 45 minutes to try and put on a screen protector, they put over a dozen scratches in the protector. When I asked why it was scratched they told me the machine was broken and they didn’t have an answer for me as to why they didn’t tell me upfront that it was broken.

Bought an asus at Buy-Riite with extra warranty . When it crashed they wanted $300. to fix it. Called it manufacturer fault.. Poor service and a money grab

couldn't or wouldn't help set up a POS terminal.
