The binding on the cockpit mats of my yacht had become frayed and needed to be rebound. No one apparently does this, not even companies who manufacture carpets for boats. I contacted Royalty Persian Rugs because rug binding was one of the services their website said they offered. Although they’d never worked on mats for boats before, Hamid said he’d give it a try and he was very committed to getting it done. In the end, he did a great job and the mats look like new again. I’m very happy to have given my mats new life - I never dreamed it’d be a Persian rug specialist who’d come to my rescue though.
