Wow, McDonald’s. Completely disappointed.Tried to surprise my son with a hot lunch for school and apparently you’re unable to throw a basket of fries in the fryer 20 minutes before you start serving lunch.Luckily the WENDY’S right next door said it was no problem! And they were able to whip up a quick nugget and fries meal for my son.Needless to say your lack of accommodation has solidified my choice to never go to this restaurant again.

Do your employees always treat customers like they aren't important? My kids were waiting by the counter waiting to pay and they completely got ignored and had other customers served before them. McDonald's used to have the best service and now it might actually be the worst. You should start training people like you used to. Very rude and we are not impressed at all.

Careful ordering here. It’s hit and miss if your order will come out right. We order from here almost weekly and the staff are very friendly, unfortunately it’s a 1 to 3 chance your order will be fulfilled correctly. For example tonight I ordered a 10 piece nugget meal, opened the box to only have 5 nuggets. Just double check your orders.

Writing this in the parking lot before I leave. I don’t often leave reviews, but this is the fourth time I’ve come just after 10:00pm and it’s been closed, yet the hours say till 11:00pm. It’s not a big deal, but if you’re going to close early every night just change your hours.One time I came around 10:20pm and all lights were off and the store was closed. Two times I’ve come and all the lights were off outside through drivethru including the big M outside to indicate if it’s open, yet they still took my order and served me. Mind you, it was before 10:30pm all times, when it says open until 11:00pm. Just leave the lights on and stay open for the hours you say you’ll be.Tonight, all lights are on and yet it was closed. Like I said, not the worst thing but rather annoying. Just update your hours to close at 10pm if you aren’t going to honour the hours you have posted.Also, while I’m at it, why does no one that works here ever put sugar in the coffee? All times of day, any day of the week, McDonalds coffee is always sugarless. I don’t think I’ve ever had sugar in my coffee from this location. I only go to the McDonalds in Walmart now because of this, or to Tim Hortons. I love the staff, they are always so friendly. But I just wish management would deal with these above mentioned issues.

My husband and I went Into the new store today. He was excited to see the new look. We both were disappointed. The food was fine, hence the two stars. But for a slow day and only 20% of the store tables currently occupied it was disgusting. No other word describes the cleanliness rating better. The beverage station (as can be seen from the photos) had ketchup smeared, pop spilled, straw paper etc everywhere. We filled out the customer service survey but as they no longer have a secure box to put them, who knows if it will ever reach the Store Manager. I gave it directly to the shift manager but.....if she let's the store look like this than I'm not sure she will take it to heart. I didn't take a photo of the floors and tables themselves but they were much the same. Ketchup, napkins and fries all on the table and floors. Not what we have come to expect from McDonald's.

Great food. Far superior to the US McDonald's. Friendly workers too. No iced tea available but that's a Canadian thing not a fault of the restaurant.

2023 July 2.5★This place is slow. There's lack of staff. Everyone is busy preparing the food and with the kiosks, they limit time taking orders or providing customer service.Everything else was ok. Hopefully this is temporary.Seating on the patio very nice. Well decorated.Play place also available.

So me and my partner come in there at least once a week and order the same thing pretty much every time. And every time he asks for extra pickles and extra onions of course there is NEVER extra. In fact 1-3 pickles and very little to no onion. When people ask for extra. Give them extra, they are paying for their food to be made properly. Next time I will be checking in the parking lot if our food is to proper standards and if is not I will be coming back in

Their hot fudge sundaes have the least amount of ice cream with the least amount of fudge. Photo for reference. Though I understand this is a business and the franchise owners are cutting costs at every possible corner, which is to be expected as evidenced by the hot fudge sundae or lack thereof, the owners should at least update the menu images to reflect that you do not in fact get the advertised amount of fudge, or ice cream.

Just went through the drive thru on William in Cobourg. Worst service. They asked me to pull up to the window as they were waiting on fries. Fries? It's McDonalds for crying out loud. I waited for the longest time. Literally had to get out of the car and walk to the drive thru window to ask about my order. I was then told they were waiting on the chicken. Which is it, the fries or the chicken? Either way, the wait was far too long. Very disappointing.
