Great Hall at Fort Henry

Great Event, location, service, meal all fantastic. My husband Arden Brummell and 3 of his friends were guardsmen back in the late 60's. We had family and friends at this special 50th Wedding anniversary from across the country and around the world. Kingston was where we me.Sorry for the delay, our event was held last August 8th 2022

One of my favorite places to be at in Kingston. The kitchen staff and front house staff are absolutely wonderful to work with.I'm always happy when my clients are at this Venue.

She supported us leading up to and the day of our wedding. My husband and I got married at Fort Henry on August 14, 2022. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! The historic fort was the perfect fit for us as a couple because my husband is a history professor and I'm a history teacher, and we met through this shared connection. The views were stunning, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the Great Hall reception space is beautiful! We held our ceremony in East Park and would highly recommend this lovely treed area. Thank you to Heather and Danielle who were with us every step of the way as we planned (and replanned when we postponed for a year due to the pandemic) our special day. We loved every second of our wedding day and could not have imagined getting married anywhere else! We look forward to coming back to visit Fort Henry again soon.

Very well organized place. Once in a lifetime experience. Watch Old army cells, Guns, Toilets and MAKE 100% SURE don't miss the PARADE (CANON FIRING). No options to eat except BATTERY BISTRO. Have Fun. Enjoy

Amazing historical place! The tour guide explained its history and walked us through the fort which was a great experience.

I photographed a couple weddings at the Great Hall at Fort Henry this year. This is a great spot for a wedding. Quintessentially Kingston. The hall is beautiful and can be made into the perfect reception venue, and the terrace is the perfect spot for a ceremony. My photographer's suggestion is to try to have the ceremony a little later in the day, as the sun sets beyond the Fort (or behind the couple). Ideal for photos if it's a bright and sunny day. Food was excellent and being inside the fort by yourselves during portraits is a trip. Really cool to be in there when everyone has left. Lots of great textures and lines to use for creative portraits. Here's some photos from those weddings. I'm just going to post black and whites because I can! :)

The venue itself is gorgeous! The windows that overlook the water provided an amazing backdrop for our reception. The pictures our photographer captured of us inside the Fort are better than anything I could have hoped for. The venue also includes overnight parking, which was so helpful for our guests.Beyond just the Hall, the staff are amazing. Shaughnessy and her team were so helpful, organized and quick to respond with any and all questions that we had. When an unexpected change in weather forced us to move from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony at the last minute, they were so quick to pivot and ensure that (somehow) everything still went off without a hitch! We felt so taken care of, and it was so clear that Shaughnessy is very passionate about the work that she does.Highly recommend!

One of the cozy picnic spots in kinston. Bet to visit in the summer . A great spot for outing with friends and family to spend a great fun quality time. The spot offers boating facility and other fun activities too. The main attraction includes the water front park and other spots to chill and enjoy an fun outing time. It’s not so crowded and has a great vibe to offer it’s situated across the city and hence we can have a mind blowing view of the Kingston town from this spot

Absolutely perfect day. Our day of coordinator Alex was really professional while making sure my husband and I stayed relaxed. We couldn't have asked for a better day.
