Deer Lake Park
This park is one of the beat places in metro vancouver to kayaking, fishing, walking, bird watching and picnicking. The parking lot is okay even for weekends. There is a washroom, boat rental and few swings. The boardwalk guide you for walking around the lake. Watch for geese poop in grassy areas. I highly recommend this lake and park to have fun with family if you love outdoor activities.

Deer Lake Park
Amazing place to relax, have a good walk, picnic, fishing, museum, and gardens. Nice vistas of teh Burnaby skyscrapers with the Deer lake on the foreground. There are lots of parking spaces as well.

Deer Lake Park
Beautiful park with a lovely lake in the middle. Lots of parking spread around the many entrances. A main trail around the lake with several other trails that loop off of it through woods and feilds. Lots of birds and animals in the area. Enough benches spread around, a nice little warf, playground, restrooms, and picnic area. Dogs must be kept on leash.

Deer Lake Park
Deer Lake Park in Burnaby is a wonderful place to spend some time outdoors. The park features a beautiful lake that's perfect for a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous hike on the loop trail that surrounds it. The trail is well-maintained and offers stunning views of the lake, trees, and wildlife that call the park home.During the summer months, visitors can rent kayaks, pedal boats, and kenu boats for a fun and unique way to explore the lake. The rental process is straightforward and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a great activity for families, couples, or anyone looking for a bit of adventure. One of the best things about Deer Lake Park is that it offers free parking. While the parking lot can fill up quickly during special events, it's usually not too difficult to find a spot. The park is well-organized and the signage is clear and easy to follow, which makes navigating the area a breeze.Overall, I highly recommend Deer Lake Park for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic outdoor experience. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll, go for a hike, or try out some water activities, this park has something for everyone.

Deer Lake Park
I really like to take pictures at Deer Lake Park in all seasons. The reason is its colors and features vary from season to season. In spring, it’s colorful with countless flowers. In summer, it’s vibrant and green. In autumn, it’s red and yellow. In winter, it becomes a pure white world while snowing. Time changes, but its charm has never changed.

Deer Lake Park
It's a nice, relaxing walk around the lake with options to go boating, rent canoes and kayaks, there's also Burnaby Blooms by the shadbolt center. Parking is difficult and the play area for kids is minimal but there is a lot of birds and ducks to see, turtles, fish, bugs, many kinds of flowers, the path loop around the lake is amazing for a city park. Coyote sighting recently and signs are up, as well as bears.

Deer Lake Park
What a beautiful massive lake in Burnaby. Also, it's a place where we should have fun or relax with kid/family, or having a picnic, boating, and seeing the sunset. There's couple of paths to walk along the lake with beautiful city view. Highly recommended to visit this park. Parking available on site.

Deer Lake Park
A fantastic place for a leisure hike or an outing with friends and family located in the heart of Burnaby. A walk around the lake is simply refreshing. The lake view itself is breathtaking. I look forward to paddling a kayak in the lake during summertime. It’s going to be fun.

Deer Lake Park
Very beautiful loop around the lake. The garden near the shabolt center is quite nice in spring as well. There is a restroom and boat rental place near the parking lot. The lot can get full on a sunny weekend.
