TOP Sports

The team at TOP Sports, led by Ian and Kevin, puts the focus where it should be, developing skills and having fun.  The kids are excited and happy attending every event, practice, and game.  The coaching staff provides meaningful feedback to kids continuously through the season, helps them develop as caring members of the community while engaging with them at their level.  We've now put both of our kids in TOP, starting with hockey and expanding to lacrosse (Summer and PA day camps as well).  One of the best decisions we made for our kids (and for us).

Best Hockey program I've ever participated in or heard of. They focus on fundamentals in every aspect of the game and in life - teamwork, dedication, motivation, skills development, focus and maybe most importantly fun! The program went above and beyond throughout the 4 years we have been part of it. This was particularly impressive through COVID providing alternative solutions and quick re-start after each shut down or restriction imposed. Every coach/management were exceptional from a skills, training, engagement and personal perspective. They made this fun and exceptional for kids and parents alike. I usually temper my reviews with opportunities for improvement but really can't think of anything negative to say. If you have the opportunity to join this program, I obviously strongly recommended it. (Special call out to Kevin, Ben, Jordan, Ian and the beaches staffing team).Sean

The TOP sports program for my son has been a step above any other program out there. The quality team in Kevin, Ian and all the great coaches that run the day to day is nothing short of impressive.Their ability to connect with each participant at various ages is their secret sauce as the kids vastly improve their skill set and do so while having HUGE smiles on their faces ! This past year has been trying for all and the TOP Sports team continue to evolve and adapt and provide the same top notch quality activities even under difficult circumstances. Top Sports is like no other. They truly care about the kids and it is the experience you hope for your child to have while playing team sports. They focus on skills, respect and fun vs. the outcome. Not to mention they're great guys and have an incredible roster of coaches.

TOP is an outstanding program and an amazing alternative to the traditional sports leagues. High quality coaching, along with strong focus on development produces not just high quality athletes, but high quality people. Ian and Kevin are fantastic and have assembled a super talented and committed team of coaches that keep the kids engaged and motivated to achieve their best!

My 3 kids (9, 7 and 4) have attended TOP programming for the last 18 months including the summer camps, learn to play hockey, soccer and lacrosse. I cannot recommend the team more highly. In particular, I have appreciated the high levels of enthusiasm and encouragement from their coaches. Sports is a great opportunity to build character and the coaches have nailed the intangibles like eye contact, good manners and positive attitudes. 10/10 recommend.

We have been tremendously fortunate to be part of the TOP Hockey program. Their approach to hockey and coaching is designed to focus on skill development and while keeping things fun. They create a sense of community amongst the players and parents not like any other team we have been involved with. They also, most importantly, understand the importance of a multi sport environment to develop a well rounded athlete and encourage and provide the time for kids to participate in multiple sports year round.There is no better program out there for kids and we would highly recommend anyone look into their programs

Our family has had a wonderful experience with TOP Sports. The staff are excellent - organized, supportive, encouraging and wonderful coaches. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone who wants their child to learn skills, make friends, gain self esteem and have fun!!! We've been with TOP since the start with my son and it has been awesome.Coaches are the best; teach the kids great skills and behavior in a fun and positive atmosphere. Ice times are efficient and effective leaving room to pursue other interests for the kids too.

I regard TOP Sports as the premier sports program for kids in Toronto. Top-notch coaches with programs that strike the right balance between skills development and competition. My kids have have all shown tremendous progress in their respective sports since they became involved with TOP programs!
