For the time being it has been the Saturday home for many vendors of the Moss St. Market. It's a beautiful park in a quiet area of Fairfield. There is no playground for kids. The clos by park that is adjacent to Sir James Douglas school does have a playground.

There used to be a morning meet up of dog walkers, but the city dog catcher has handed out a few tickets in early 2019. The field is really soggy on the Southside until middle spring so avoid that.
