Budget Car Rental

Not a car to be had. Office is 10 feet x 10 feet, and the lot didn't have a single vehicle of ANY KIND on it.

Dedicated staff helped me in a bind. Travelers NF last minute to Northern Ontario, I could not find a rental car. All the online search engines failed me and Expedia even gave me a false positive. The staff at Budget/Avis (Lisa and Andrew) found me a vehicle (no one else could) and helped make a crucial business trip a success. Many thanks!

I booked the rental online, nowhere on the website said I needed a credit card and I scheduled for a 1030 pickup which is when I arranged to get a ride. My confirmation said 1030am I got a call at 930 saying I had to either go there right now or wait till 430. That's when I found out I would need a credit card in my name which I don't have. So I had to cancel my reservation I later got a charge of 50$ as a no-show" charge... Which makes no sense I told them I don't have a credit card so I couldn't get the car anyway. When I made my reservation nothing said I needed a credit card and so I had to cancel."

Reserved a car online (Costco) and confirmed the Timmins office will be open at the pickup time (Dec 26). Travelled in from another province but office is closed. Staff say they have bad communication with head office so they were listed as open even though they were closed. Called back Dec 27 to pickup the vehicle, presuming for a discount with one less day on the rental. Staff quoted new price of $100 more for a shorter rental period and made no attempt to resolve the issue. I called Enterprise and had a car rented for the original quoted amount within minutes. After learning that I had rented a car elsewhere Budget now offered to match the price THEY originally quoted. Too late Budget.

Reserve and they will clean your car off before you get there:)

Great service and prices

Terrible customer service. I rented as mine broke down in Timmins. The associate gave me a Tacoma, the tru k that I rented broke down an hour out of town. I asked for help and they said, I'm sorry that's a YOU problem.Very pathetic response and the worst service I've ever had. The management needs to be fired for their very poor attitudes
