Seema Eye Care Centre - Cataract, Laser Surgery Calgary

Dr Lekhi is personable and no complaints.But if you are going to this clinic, expect at least 18$ -20$for parking. I arrived early for my appointment , but it took 3 hours to be seen. A total disregard for your precious time. Luckily I chose one of the earliest appointments or I would have missed work. I am contemplating to go back to my other ophthalmologist, a little further than this location, but never had experienced unprofessional waste of time.

This place is not setup for wheel chair access. Very surprising for a place that deals with a lot of older people.Small room sizes makes it difficult to maneuver a wheel chair. None of the equipment works for chair bound individuals. So unless you are prepared for several transfers, it's beat to find somewhere else.

Front desk staff were friendly and were quick to send information and to me reschedule my appointment beforehand. Ismail and Ina were kind and efficient. Dr. Jason answered my questions and was clear and helpful in his explanations of my treatment.Great experience and was faster than I was prepared to wait. Paid parking ($3.75/hr at the time of this review) available with limited street parking a few blocks away if you’ve brought a friend to take you home.

Jarilyn has been a ray of sunshine for me. It can be stressful and anxious coming in to see how my eye is doing after surgery. Her smile is comforting, her patience with me and encouraging words means a lot. She is definitely someone that should be recognized as an outstanding staff member.

Book with literally anyone else EXCEPT these clowns if you can. Their version of appointment" evidently means "come on this day around this time and MAYBE someone will eventually get to you within 1-16 hours".This place easily has the most ridiculous wait times I've experienced anywhere. One day it was 45 minutes in a room with over 60 people waiting - today there just ONE single person sitting in the waiting room in the entire building

The entire team at Seema Eye Care are so incredible! Not only are they clearly capable but they are always so kind and go above and beyond. The doctors are so knowledgeable and caring, and will answer any questions that you have. Geeta and Ena are both amazing and the office is very lucky to have them, they will always make you feel supported and heard. I would highly recommend having your eye care here!

The staff is absolutely unprofessional including the manager. I was treated with such disrespect and rudeness. I cannot believe that these people work in a clinic where you are meant to be understanding and treat patients with empathy and respect. They provide false information and make excuses that don’t even make sense. If you can take your referral elsewhere this is what I would recommend.

I haven’t had my surgery yet but I need to thank Sue for her empathy and going above and beyond to get me a triage appointment. I contacted her to ask why I haven’t heard anything about an appointment after my optometrist sent in an ‘urgent’ referral 8 months ago. After checking on it, it turns out the optometrist’s office never sent the referral! I was understandably upset after waiting for so long. Sue set up an appointment right away and I really appreciate her help.

The care I received over the last year from Dr. Vikram Lekhi and his staff was excellent both at the High River, AB Clinic and the Calgary, AB Seema Eye Care Center.Jasmine - the Surgical Co-ordinator- at the Seema Eye Care Center was amazing! She is well informed, personable and caring. Even though she is extremely busy any concerns you might have are addressed in a very professional, timely manner.After being a nurse for 38 years- I am so impressed with this Eye Surgeon and his staff!!Dr. Vikram Lekhi instills confidence with his vast knowledge and friendly relaxed manner. You may have to wait for an appointment and again at the office to see this Surgeon but it is DEFINITELY worth the wait!! Remember there is a good reason why you are waiting - he is one of the very best and everyone wants the best - BE PATIENT!!To this exceptional surgeon, surgical co-ordinator and his staff I send my sincere gratitude!!! I highly recommend Dr. Vikram Lekhi and his wonderful staff!!!!!!
