Worst place for banking, applied for LOC got approved for 15k but the advisor (amali perera) took more then 3 weeks and still haven’t received any notification from the bank not to mention got a hard check on credit file

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. I had a car loan thru them. This is the only bank I have ever heard that does not accept cash to pay down a loan.I paid the full amount off so I didn't have to deal with them ever again. Take your money else where. This place is horrible.

Awesome customer service. Kayon Henry helped me to open an account, She is an excellent advisor who is very knowledgable and patient with questions. The response rate from her was impeccable. I would surely recommend this branch.

Upper Wentworh branch:I wish I could negative stars, worst customer service among all banks in Canada. I feel stuck as I have mortgage with them, thank god I deal with TD for everything else. Since last year I,m working for my Heloc with them, still didn't get it. The advisor never respond to emails - its been months now.I met with the advisor couple of weeks ago, still no further action and no response to email. don't understand how they are surviving with this level of service. I hope this message gets to the manager.

I have negotiated a few mortgages in my life, but this time, this deal was more complicated because we had no agent and we had unique financial needs. Our mortgage specialist, Paul Seeley at National Bank of Canada went well beyond the parameters of his job and created a mortgage solution for both my sons. He is thorough in his communication and I felt we were making informed decisions because he explained every option and its repercussions. He creatively came up with effective solutions and instantly calculated ways for us to save money. He is efficient, knowledgeable and has an attention to detail...so much so that I didn't feel the need to shop the mortgage any place else. Most of all, Paul did all of this during his week off work, from the comfort of his home, on his own time! I am so impressed I've been telling everyone. I have eagerly recommended him to my friends and family.

In a previous post you mention ATM reduced for safety. Then how is it the other banks can facilitate 24 hour access for their customers?Given your bank is only open four hours per day and available on Thursday until 5 pm, most people work until 5 so that really isn’t helpful.Also there is a reference to alternate locations to use after hours. Please provide where those might be.I believe the bank needs to be more accommodating to the needs of it’s clients, even for one or two days per week. Why not open for four hours on Saturday?

Customer service isn't in this bank's vocabulary. As executor, I was tasked with closing an acct. This branch offered no help and never once returned a call. Not once! In fact, still waiting to close this acct. after 2 1/2 months. Oh, and they're still charging a monthly fee..

I just switched banks recently I was hoping national bank will be better than the previous, I was wrong.Every time I wanted to deposit cash thru the ATM both branches are closed.The main entrance door is open but not the door that to the ATM machines.Is the second time I'm late paying bills because of this issue.Why can't we have access to the ATM after hours depositing money? Very frustrating that such bank won't allow customers to access the ATM.I have to switch bank again.
