Our 22 year-old treated lumber deck had seen better days and needed to be replaced. We met with several contractors, including Miro Simecek of Royal Decks and Landscapes. We instantly liked his low-key, knowledgeable style. He listened carefully and patiently to what we wanted, and offered excellent suggestions on how to improve on our initial thoughts.Construction projects are always a major disruption, but Royal Decks made ours a really pleasant experience. The 2-man crew that Royal Decks assigned to our project was outstanding, and we have nothing but great stuff to say about them. They were both incredibly friendly, easy-going, and highly productive. It is clear that they both care deeply about doing everything perfectly - and the results are consistent with that.Royal Decks are definitely not the least expensive option, but they're absolutely amazing, the quality of their work is impeccable, and well worth the price. If we had to do it all over again the only thing we'd change is not to waste any time looking at other companies.We're really looking forward to using our new deck this spring. This is the second time that we have worked with Miro and his team at Royal Decks and LandscapingA few years ago, Miro installed an interlocking patio. It increased our use of that area so much, that we decided to have him back, to build a permanent patio roof.Miro is awesome to work with, he is calm, efficient and has great ideas.We appreciated, especially during the pandemic, that he facilitated a complicated building permitapplication.The Royal team of Steve, Dave and Eddy, and the logistics crews did a great job, all very professional with pride of workmanship.We’re really happy with our patio covering. Choosing Royal Decks provided quite an experience to us because despite the fact that their numbers were way above our budget we decided to stick with them and, in the end, were extremely happy with our decision.When we signed the contract Miro confidently said to us: do not worry, we will take good care of you!From the very beginning, the first contact with Anita, the first phone conversation with Miro, so timely scheduled and punctual, his ensuing first visit to our house, our visit to their store; everything was performed with such professionalism that we could not help but feel positively impressed.Then, when the time for the execution arrived, and after seamless discussions with Arens with regards to the project’s computerized 3D plans and drawings, we met Steve, the project manager, who made sure all the questions were answered and all the problems solved, at least so it seemed. What a character, we did have fun. He was very helpful from start to finish, very knowledgeable and experienced, providing guidance and full support to Garry, the master carpenter, the star of the project in our opinion, who, in his humble, polite ways, has such a passion for his work that we can say with certainty our deck is perfect, and if not, almost perfect. He is careful, attentive to details, a master craftsman. In our perception, relentlessly pursuing a work of art.Royal Decks took good care of us, Miro was right, they delivered indeed.

The team at Royal Decks is great to work with. They complete everything from permits, design, planing, inspection and building. I searched quite a bit before choosing Royal Decks. Some people don't do everything, some people don't bother to come out, and most people said don't bother with composite. Miro was the first person willing to come out, get the permit and build any size deck with composite. Royal Decks give you a quote, write everything up, and works with you before proceeding. The building team which included Steve, Arthur, Alex, and Josh works with you to get the job done right. They have good honest guys you can trust to come in your house and get the job done. They work fast and efficiently and clean up after. I've had many neighbors compliment their work and say my deck looks great and they really like it. If you choose Royal Decks you will certainly get a high quality deck built the way you want it, no worries. Just an update, I noticed one board a bit chipped. I contacted Steve and he is always quick to respond and fix things to customer satisfaction. The board was fixed almost next day. Arthur was the lead on the upper deck. He was punctual, organized, always communicated what he will work on for the day, and takes pride in his work. Alex was the lead on the lower deck, he worked very hard to get the job done right and was quick, efficient and always listened. Anita was always polite and punctual with responses and Arens did a great job working on the design drawings/permit. The team at Royal Decks is great to work with.

I can’t tell you how impressed I am with Royal Decks. My new deck is absolutely gorgeous! I had put away a lot of my prior deck furniture/decorations since I had a sept build. I brought it all back out! It is so sturdy, animal proof underneath and will last me for years! The crew were truly professional and did an awesome build

Loving our new space!Were so happy with the outdoor space Miro, Michael & Steven created for us! We began working with them in fall 2021 and the work was completed July 2022. They took a drab outdoor space and transformed into our new outdoor living room!

I found Royal Decks on instagram and loved the photography of their completed projects. They designed a custom deck based on my proposal and direction and gave good recommendations where I wasn't totally sure on things. The project was completed on time, on budget, and with a reliable and dependable team. While not the cheapest option on the market, I firmly believe the quality of the materials and workmanship speak for themselves. Thanks Miro, Steve, Alex and Josh for the great work.

Royal Decks did an amazing job installing our retaining wall, front yard pathway & steps and new parking pad. Working with their design team was effortless and they had great suggestions for us to consider in the materials & design of the path and parking pad. The construction crew was phenomenal - they did exceptionally high quality work and were responsive to small timing issues (out of their control) as they arose during the construction process as well as any small design adjustments we requested as it was all being installed. I would highly recommend Royal Decks - they were amazing and I would use them again in a second!
