Recycling clothes was easy, just brought them and they had a bag to put them in. But recycling bottles, wow what a pain!First you have to create an account (there is a computer there). They don't even give you the money there, they email it to you for direct deposit. Then they wouldn't accept my bag that I had the bottles in as it was a black bag. Apparently you need a clear one. Of course they do sell them for $15 a pack (that was according to the lady, they advertise single bags for 2 bucks). All that just to recycle a few bottles. I guess its worth the effort if you live local and have a ton of bottles to return. Otherwise its just too much hassle for a buck or two in deposit returns.

No longer accepts e-waste, so the guy says - directed me to a london drugs for recycling.

Really like this initiative downtown! Feel like the process is made very easy super fast. Bring your translucent bag with the accepted non-sorted empties and print a tag which you can also pre-order online. We are not in it particularly for the money so I'm unsure of what the payment process will be like but we have had concerns about if our buildings are truly recycling our items so it's nice to bring them here directly and seeing them arrive at their final recycling destination. ♻️♻️♻️

It’s a beautiful afternoon… you are hoping to return your bottles and cans… can you? Absolutely not no. I am extremely disappointed by this bottle depot. I am never one to give a poor review but after my experience here felt that I absolutely had to. First, there is no parking: good luck trying to go back and forth across the street with traffic rolling by with huge recycling bags in your hands. Second, express depot? No… more like make an account online, get pre-approved, transfer all of your bottles and cans into their clear plastic bags (not very environmental to use new bags, huh) and then after 10 days receive your money back. No cash. Only money reimbursement through the website. Sounds secure, right? The business model that this place operates on is truly atrocious and a waste of time. This place genuinely represents all of the issues with the city of Vancouver - while I am trying to be environmental and RECYCLE… you are trying to make peoples lives difficult. Here’s a tip: make recycling easy and people will do it… not make an account, transfer bags and wait 10 days. Thanks for wasting my time.

Great local drop off at Pacific and Richards. Six very large bags are allowed each time. They ask for clear but if you bring a clear White bag that works too. You can either have them mail labels to you or you can print off as many as six at a time right from the kiosk in the store. You slap the label on your bed you run the QR reader over the code and throw the bag over into the large containers to hold them. Most people don't realize that milk cartons are charged for now and should be in your recycling. They will also take glass. The only bone of contention I have is that I am often coming in struggling with a dog buggy and three or four bags and none of the stuff seem to want to leap into the bridge and help even if only holding the door open. That's the reason this company didn't get its fifth star.

This place does NOT bother to update its hours on the website…closed on Holidays when it says it’s open!! Thanks for wasting people’s time on their days off. A sign on the door is USELESS when people are already there. Oh and why bother being open only 4 hours on a Sunday…? Not like lots of people work day jobs & maybe have limited time to do chores like recycling.

It is an easy service. We drop off our recyclables in a clear bag as we were instructed when we signed up, punch in the phone number, print the labels off and walk away. The transaction is effortless and takes us less than one minute upon entering the building. The staff always inquire if we need assistance, and we politely decline. I enjoy this service rather than counting it out myself.

Very convenient way to recycle your refundable items. Put everything in a clear plastic bag, and then a few quick steps at the depot, drop them off and they do the sorting, counting and refund the amount directly to your account! Simple and fast.

No longer accepts textiles. Saw the pics and comments on Google and dragged two bags of clothes there to have them rejected. You can recycle bottles and cans in plenty of places so what is the point in this place anymore.
