A modernized, go-to place for studying, interacting, and whatever else you do as a university student. All 6 floors offer great places to study; I find the 4th floor computer labs (when they’re open) to be consistently a good option. It is recommended to avoid the 1st and 3rd floors from 12-2 if you’re looking for a quieter place study.Another good option is to book a workroom through the U of C website; these are great for group study sessions, but do so ~1 week in advance, for bookings are often busy (especially when midterms start). The one and only complaint I have is purely that it’s a library used by university students. Some of us aren’t the most courteous when it comes to noise or cleaning up their workspace after they’re done, which is to be expected.Final word of advice/psa: floors 4-6 are dedicated silent areas. Don’t be that guy who ruins it for everyone!

One of the best places I visit in NW. People in the library are always helpful. Printing services are very handy.

Librarians need to really kick out loud groups of people on the quiet floors. They're so tolerant that it just causes misery for people trying to study.

Looks cool; very modern library. The presentation rooms are great for group work, but you need to reserve the rooms about a week in advance. During busy times (finals), the library is very busy, there are designated quiet areas, but all the study areas are usually full. Good luck finding a spot to study during finals.

Too hot in addition to closing at 6PM makes for a ridiculously unproductive study session. Do better UofC.

This place is a really good library, with lots of study spaces and group work places and stuff. But no matter how hard I try I can never find the Taylor family; the university always tells me that they don't actually live there but I know that they are hidden somewhere in this building.5/5

The library has 6 floors... Bottom 3 are for people to sit together and discuss things. Top 3 are silence rooms, meant to be used by people who prefer studying alone. The support staff are also very helpful.

Great place to study. It's relatively new and there are great views from the top floors. I would definitely watch my belongings and never leave them out of my sight, but that's common sense. There are quiet places to study and there are places where you can do group discussions and projects.

Great library. Gets pretty busy during exam season. But booking the rooms ahead of time to study is pretty easy through the online system. It can also get really loud, unless you go to the very top floors so you may want to invest in some earplugs. They have helpful people on floor 1 if you need to find a book.Overall, pretty clean and well taken care of throughout the year.

Excellent study space with no shortage of resources for many different needs, as well as the top floors being quiet floors. Plenty of Apple and Windows computers for students to access as well. Does get quite busy during exams and difficult to find a spot
