Ernie's Meat Market

I'm so glad we have Ernie's in our area. They offer a great assortment of meat. We love their pulled pork (its precooked so a quick heat and it's ready to serve), and their sausages are some of the best I've tried (my favourite are the Hungarian but the Italian are delicious too). It's also my favorite place to get ground beef. A great place to get good quality meat.

Today was the first time we shopped at this place and it was a great choice. The place looks cleaned, simple and local, and the meat is very fresh. Great customer service , lots of information provided and surprisingly very affordable prices. My husband loves the pork chop and the Hungarian sausage. Kudos!

Rick and his team are doing an amazing job. We have used Ernie's meat market several times, and are always so extremely happy and totally satisfied with the amazing cuts of meat they put together for us ... baseball steaks and T-Bone's at our cabin for our yearly holiday were fantastic.We would recommend Ernie's to anyone in or passing through Burlington Ontario.

I have been a customer for years and have always found the food and service excellent. The meat pies and quiche are delicious and handy when you are in a rush to get dinner on the table. The beef tenderloin is exceptional for a treat. I would also recommend their large roasting chickens. They are local and a great size if you want left overs the next day.

I've been going to ernie's for years. Same order everytime, 8 sausage. During COVID ernie's switched to phone order only (which I understood). The first time I tried ordering through all of this I stopped into ernie's to grab some sausage and was scolded and told to go home and order by phone. I I tried calling the next time but there was no answer. I called 6 times. Eventually I went in. I was scolded again but this time I got my sausage at least. And this last time, I finally called. I had to call 8 times and when I did get through the guy told me to grab my order anytime. I said I was at work and would get it later in the week, probably on the weekend. He said whenever is fine"

We have shopped at Ernie's 3 weeks in a row and have tried several different cuts of meat, pies, kielbasa,and butter tarts. Everything has been exceptional quality and the people are very friendly. I haven't had a steak in years that was so tender!

Our family ordered a great big turkey 2 weeks in advance for thanksgiving, went to pick it up. They don't have it and say usually people come in early in the day to get a big turkey, tell us we can have the one closest to what we had ordered (5lb smaller) Now we don't have enough turkey for dinner and have to roast an additional breast. Weak Ernie.

We have been getting great products from Ernie’s meats for many years. Definitely the best butcher in town!! Prices are great too boot!We recently got some ribeye steaks for the smoker. Best steaks I’ve ever had! Great cut for the smoker, then reverse sear. I highly recommend Ernie’s! Wish I could give 10 stars!Thanks for providing awesome service and products!!!

Was shocked today to find a sign on the door that Ernie's is (hopefully temporarily) closed due to lease renegotiations as a result of the hit they've taken from COVID.Not sure what we can do to support Ernie's but we can't let this Headon Rd institution die!Ernie's provides an always delicious selection of everything you can want from a trusted neighbourhood butcher, supported by helpful and friendly staff.If there's anything your loyal customers can do (email the landlord?) please let us know... here or on your website.
