Cabane à Sucre et Salle de réception Paquette
I recently visited Cabane a Sucre Paquette and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. The lack of organization and service was incredibly frustrating, and it was clear that the staff were not properly trained or equipped to handle the demands of a busy restaurant.Just to get in took 20 mins even with prebought tickets. Then waited almost an hour to be seated. And another hiur to get mains...To make matters worse, the quality of the food was far from satisfactory. The dishes were poorly prepared and lacked flavor, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed.Overall, I would not recommend Cabane a Sucre Paquette to anyone looking for a quality dining experience. The lack of organization and poor quality of food left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, and I would suggest that others look elsewhere for their sugar shack needs.

Very disappointed in the service. We paid so much for such little food. We understand there’s a shortage of staff however we paid premium price to reserve and eat at the sugar shack. We had to fight to get the bear essentials (pickles & beats).Never going back. It was a very bad experience.

Booked for 1:00PM arrived in time, got seated 2:15PM!!! Blamed staff shortage but they still take enormous amounts of booking they clearly cannot handle! In reality they are horribly disorganized! Seating larger groups that arrived later than we did and completely denied it to our faces when confronted ! Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else! So many other sugar shacks!

The wait time at the entrance was quite long, to get a band placed on one wrist, despite having a reservation. Once in, the chairs were quite tightly packed with very little space. The food itself was okay but nothing with a wow effect"The waiters service was mostly on point. Though it was obvious they were still somewhat short staffed.Fairly pricey as well

I gave 2 star for good service but the food was terrible and expensive. I asked for végétarien option it was the same as other plates except no meat. A bit of plain omelette with boiled potato and mushy beans

I don’t usually like to write negative reviews but I felt that this review should be written in order for people to learn from experiences. As well as for businesses to improve on certain aspects. Clearly the cabane a sucre was short staffed and I completely understand that we are headed towards tough times however, the business mentioned halal/vegetarian options but my group and I definitely ate items visibly containing pork when the waiter clearly mentioned they were halal/vegetarian. This must be rectified. There must be separation in the kitchen and organization. We also felt there was not enough food provided. We kept asking for water, bread, butter, everything. We left hungry. Also, we waited very long to be seated when our group had booked everything online.I hope the establishment takes this review in a positive way and tries to correct certain things for future bookings. Food restrictions was the most important matter in this outing.

A great spot to visit. People wander about with beignes and maple bacon even before you get into the dining hall. Once there, it's knee deep in pea soup, omelets, hash browns, ham, beans, sausages, pork rinds, four or five desserts, fresh bread, creton and fresh hot coffee. Do not overlook the pickles! Bring an appetite and forget dinner.

Terrible service. I small baguette for 15 people. Asked for more bread and was told it was in the oven. When they brought it to us it was not fully cooked Waited 30 plus minutes for coffee. Not enough food. Waited 1 hour for second serving of soup. Soup serving was 1/4 of the bowl. The bacon was leftover and reheated. Was hard and rubbery. They said it was crispy but there was no crisp! The only food that was tasty was the omelette. There are always 200 sugar shacks in Quebec, go elsewhere.

Food is very basic and bland. Ordinary omelet, bland ham, crumbled pieces of bacon, even the hot dogs in maple syrup were a miss (spongy hot-dogs). The bread was bery good. Dessers the cake (pouding chômeur is good, but crepes (stiff and cold) and pie (spongy). 42$pp (incl tax expensive for whsr we got)The reason I gave a 2 is because there was a few farm animals and a horse and buggy ride ,($3pp) that added a bit to a so so experience.

The logistics were terrible. They were understaffed and disorganized, as a result we waited for a long time to be inside the restaurant. The main point that really disappointed me that we came particularly because it mentioned in their invitation that they have Halal options. However, they kept mixing up the Halal food with pork, the waiter kept saying one time it is Halal and another time the same food it is not Halal.Once we were served the Halal food, I confirmed with the waiter several times to be sure that it is Halal and he verified that, later on, I found out pieces of pork inside the bowl. What if someone was allergic and they had a serious health problem?I find this very irresponsible and disrespectful.
