Everyone in there was very nice and helpful! I'm afraid I didn't get all their names (they may have been Kayla and Dr. Raewyn), but the lady who did my eye exam made me feel very comfortable and welcome. My experience was very warm and inviting.The salesperson (Kelly, I believe) listened when I showed her a picture of the kind of frames I was thinking of getting and showed me similar frames. The first frames she showed me ended up being the ones I loved and bought. She was very patient and gave me her honest opinion on how she thought frames looked on me. She and I both ended up agreeing on which ones we thought were the best.After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a bit worried. In the past, shops would try to upsell me on bogus lense features that would end up costing me $1,200 for two new basic glasses. I decided to take a chance at East London Optometry because it's near my home and the overwhelming positive reviews.At East London Optometry, I got my eyes examined, a prescription written, a new pair of glasses, and even a pair of prescription sunglasses for only around $800! With this being my first visit, I was so impressed with Dr.Allison Binnie, with the quality of eye care she had provided, professionalism, friendliness, and reassurance! It made the world of difference, In the apprehension I was feeling!Unfortunately I had a negative experience elsewhere" with my eye care that made it somewhat difficult

Very experienced, all the up to date eye testing equipment.

I had an eye injury and Dr Drexler fit me in to have a look at it. I felt he went out of his way to accommodate me, greeting me by my first name and continued with weekly visits to follow up with the healing process. I felt very welcomed and not a bother. I would not hesitate to recommend East London Optometry.

Customer Service is amazing. Greeted with a smile. Very short wait time once we arrived for our appointment. My kids were a bit nervous. The way they interacted with my children was amazing. Such understanding and kindness. The exam was thorough but still done in a timely manner. The displays and selection is stunning so many options. Highly recommend if your looking for educated and trusted exam and stylish affordable frames.

I keep going to East London Optometry because I feel well supported and that my issues are taken seriously. Dr. Drexler is solution focused, thorough, and positive. Staff are knowledgable and make good reccomendations. They've been great with my whole family.

I am extremely happy to have Dr. Jeffrey Drexler take care of my family, including my daughters who remember him from the time they were in elementary school. For almost 20 years we are so fortunate to have him as our doctor for the thorough, professional eye exams. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field and very easy to talk to. The eyeglasses prescriptions were always very well selected.In addition, the office is very modern, with many high-tech medical devices for most up to date diagnosis and assessment. Over the years, my family members have also chosen many great eyeglasses at the centre that were professionally fitted. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend coming here for your eye exam!

I called my optometrist due double vision but they made me wait 4 weeks to see the Doctor. I decided to go to a different optometrist who was is now setting up an urgent appointment to a neurologist because he was extremely concerned that I may ave had a stroke. The admin staff were unsympathetic and ignored the information I was giving them.Stay clear; their products are expensive and the service is awful and way below standard.

Just had my first eye appointment in 25 years. Everyone here was fantastic, and very helpful. My appointment started a few minutes early, they were very helpful and answered all my dumb questions. Very comfortable atmosphere, wide selection of glasses, and very friendly. My Doctor was Allison Binnie. Highly recommended.
