This park is huge. Children area and separate dogs/pets area available. Washrooms are not clean though. Parking is spacious

Various exercise equipment, water play, dog park, baseball field, football field, trail, etc. are well maintained, and it is a very suitable park for camping with family on weekends.

Thomson Park in Scarborough is a great destination for families, and it was the perfect location for Aahil's birthday celebration. The park offers a variety of recreational activities, including playgrounds, sports fields, and picnic areas. The children at the party had a great time exploring the park, playing games, and running around. One of the highlights of the party was definitely the food. The beef bhuna from Chadnis was a standout dish, with its rich and flavorful sauce and tender meat. Everyone enjoyed the food, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into preparing it.Overall, Thomson Park provided a fun and memorable setting for the birthday party, and the food was a major highlight of the event. I would highly recommend this park to families looking for a great place to spend a day outside, or to anyone looking to host a fun and enjoyable celebration.

Great place to have a picnic, a birthday party, or any celebration for an outside event. Permanents are easy to obtain. The only downside is that it gets overpacked, so you need to get there early, or you will not get a private area for your event or parking

What an amazing place to relax after a long work day. You can walk with your family, play or have a small picnic out there as they have designated areas for that. Bike/ walk trail. Unleashed play are for different size of dogs. Water/splash play area for children. Few exercises equipment to stretch your body and amazing open play area. Ample parking space and multiple sitting and relaxing zones. To get a small break from work and relax in between of trees, must visit!

This park is a hidden gem with its scenic beauty and diverse offerings. One of its highlights is the fantastic 20 km bike trail, perfect for cycling enthusiasts who enjoy long rides surrounded by nature. Additionally, the park boasts a spacious dog park where our furry friends can run and play freely. Tennis enthusiasts can also take advantage of the well-maintained tennis courts available. For those who prefer a leisurely stroll, the park offers beautiful walking paths that provide a peaceful and relaxing experience. There are also ample picnic tables for visitors to enjoy outdoor meals amidst the serene surroundings. However, it's worth noting that obtaining permission is required for using the picnic tables. Families with children will appreciate the well-designed and engaging children's play area, which offers plenty of fun activities for kids. The park's location is also convenient, making it easily accessible for visitors. It's important to mention that while the park has MTB bike trails, it lacks winter maintenance, so they may not be suitable for use during the colder months. Safety is a priority here, as the park provides a strong security presence and surveillance, ensuring a secure environment for all visitors.Overall, this park offers a wide range of amenities and a picturesque setting, making it a great place to spend quality time outdoors.

Went from Thomson Memorial Park, passing through a couple underpathes, to Hague park and Cedar Brook park. Out and back was about 7km. The spring scenery was beautiful. It was quiet in a weekday morning.
