Went for brunch, disappointing food. Between our 4 meals the words were bland, dry, overcooked, and expensive for the quality of food. Would have brought it up to our server but we didn’t see her again after food was delivered.

I ordered the SEARED AHI TUNA CRUNCH and was disappointed with the plate. I’ve had it before but this time it was missing avocado and some additional toppings. I mentioned to the server and she was nice enough to let the kitchen know but like literally the just throw like 5 little pieces of avocado in a little bowl. Pictures are add to this.Very disappointed with the food. The servers did what they could and I guess tried.

Quiet when we went, which I enjoyed. Seated fast, staff was polite, service good and the food was tasty. The carrot cake was a delicious choice for dessert, even had a little cup with carmel to pour on top.

We were traveling through and looked at Google for a good dinner place. So glad we stopped at this restaurant- food and drinks were excellent. It was also pretty busy which is always a good indication. Modern and clean and friendly staff.

Browns Socialhouse Moose Jaw
We were staying in Moose Jaw one night and decided to go to Browns. There was a large reservation group that came in right after we sat down so I understand when there are challenges due to volume but our main order took 57 minutes to come out from the time it was entered into the computer. We sat at the bar and the bartenders showed no concern that it was such an extended time but they certainly were ready to keep taking our drink orders to add to the bill while we patiently waited. I feel that it could have been handled differently with better acknowledgement of our extended wait. Oh well. The dynamite roll, crust chicken tacos and butcher’s block burger were all delicious. And the draft beer on tap and house wine were tasty. Hopefully whoever is reading this review will not have the delay in service that we had or at least they will acknowledge it and perhaps give you a free beer or glass of wine for your wait. That’s how I’d handle it with my experience in the service industry.

Went during a lunch rush and there was only one server on, who does that? We waited almost half an hour before anyone came to bring us water and then they didn't even ask if we wanted anything to drink or if we were ready to order. We should have left but stuck it out, finally ordered and got our food after being there for almost 2 hours. The food was good and the server was great considering the stress she was under.

Solid experience at this Brown's! The hospitality was absolutely outstanding, food was tasty and honestly perfect portions. Being from out of town, we were greeted, seated and fed seamlessly. You won't go wrong eating here, so be sure to grab a seat in the patio if you can while it's nice out; service / management was awesome!

$20 for a breakfast that was supposed to come with “thick” cut bacon that was more akin to transparent ready crisp, potatoes were bland and flavourless too, so much for the “rosemary” they say it’s seasoned with. If you’re going to charge $40+ for breakfast at least provide a good product.

The service at Brown's was quite lacking. The server constantly complained to us that they were short staffed, which made us feel a little awkward. I do understand that maybe things will be a bit slower, but I wasn't expecting to be waiting 20 minutes for a single glass of beer. They also didn't feel like dealing with the tap for my drink so I had to order something else.The burger I got was good, but for the size it was very over priced. $22 for a single smaller patty burger. The taste was quite good, just a bit more than I was expecting to spend compared to other restaurants.I don't think I intend on coming back to Browns as several better locations are available.

We were hoping to try something local and unique but they were all closed. Thankfully, Browns was open. Decent atmosphere... the playlist was a little eclectic swinging from Acid Jazz to Pop to Country to 90s... We were seated promptly and given the option of table or booth. Our server was attentive and friendly. Another staff member delivered our drinks and made some recommendations about the pasta. My wife had the fish and chips... large portion, tasty, fish was nice. I had the steak with mushrooms and fettuccine... good size portion, steak was a little over spiced but cooked to my liking (medium rare) and the broccoli had a peculiarly sweet flavour (I would have preferred a simple steamed broccoli but not a deal breaker) Overall decent value, great service and a better than average atmosphere. Would go again.
