These guys know what they're doing, and are totally honest with everything. David helped me immensely with my broken down car and gave me the best (and definitely the most honest) options for my car. Hundred percent recommend. They are affordable, honest and just a friendly group of people to work with for any car issues!

Dave and his team have been looking after my families cars for more than 17 years. They have been entirely responsive and kind in a number of emergency situations while helping us stay on top of regular maintenance in ways that have been manageable and with Dave's careful attention to detail and explanation always make sense.I am a question asker and like to always walk through a variety of scenarios before making decisions. Dave always takes the time to answer my questions thoughtfullly and leaves me feeling confident that I know how to look after my car. He is honest and trustworthy - always tells me exactly what is going on, gives me lots of notice about anything upcoming and always has suggestions for prioritizing and making best use of my resources.Dave looked at four cars, all the same model (one recommended by him) that I was considering purchasing last fall before finally saying, Yes" to fifth. He said it was a good car and I should grab it. Was such a feeling of confidence and security to know he would be so discerning and look out for me in the way that he did. I recommend his services constantly to anyone looking for a mechanic.What I appreciate most about bringing my car here is that I never need to have the same issue looked at twice. If something isn't fixed Dave will look after it and make sure my money is well spent. For me this service and integrity is priceless. Just makes life easy to know someone has my back."

Seem like decent people, but pricey. Would not recommend for students or anyone on a tight budget. The vehicle diagnostic and pricing estimates also took a couple days longer than expected, which I did not appreciate because I was renting a vehicle in the interim. I found a less expensive option and did not end up servicing my vehicle here.

Beyond 5 stars. Fair, honest, exceptional!Provided a detailed diagnosis with reasonable recommendations, the repair was an extremely reasonable cost. Refreshing, I’ll be back.

David, Cathy and Mark run a very good business. They gave me a reasonable price, explained what was wrong with my car, and did the work in a timely manner. In fact, Cathy drove me back home once I dropped off my car. She also called me to give me options and did not pressure me to get certain parts.The work I had done was a gas tank replacement on a 2002 Acura, 3.2TL, which is a pretty big job.I definitely recommend their garage.

Over the last year and half I had issues with my car and the engine misfiring. After a new battery and 3 starters from another mechanic Dave took on my car and found the problem in less than a day. 1/2 inch short in the wiring harness caused a large portion of it to melt and fuse together .. She was a ticking bomb to blow up and I didn’t even know it! It’s now been 7 months and my car runs better than it did when I bought it. Thankyou so much!! You guys went above and beyond.Fair Pricing, understanding staff and honest work.

My vehicle was leaking coolant into the driver’s side and passenger side. I was afraid to drive it too far so I decided to take it to the closest auto shop… unfortunately that was David Powell’s auto services. They had my vehicle for about 5 months, during the 5 months I stoped in 4-5 times for updates since they would never contact me (even though I gave them 2 phone numbers and an email) they kept telling me it wasn’t ready or Dave wasn’t in and he wanted to talk to me first before giving the vehicle back. When it was finally time to get my vehicle back they said nothing was actually wrong with it…and yet it wouldn’t even start when I picked it up, it took about 2 and a half hours for them to get it running again (even though I put a new battery in it before giving it to them). The next day while I was driving, smoke started to fill the inside of the vehicle and coolant was leaking on the inside again. I took it back and they said they would order a part and fix it for free due to the inconvenience. After a little over a month of not hearing from them, I went back to the shop for an update regarding the ordered part. The secretary screamed at me (for no reason) and the mechanic they had on the floor told me they couldn’t get the part and they were not going to fix my vehicle. They asked me to get off the property with no explanation. My vehicle is now in even worse condition than when I originally dropped it off. I would highly recommend avoiding these people at all costs. Incredibly unprofessional, if I could give zero stars I would.
