Dave's World of Adventures

I placed my son Ethan in Dave’s snowboarding classes this winter and he looks forward to going every week. Dave focuses on positivity and building confidence. He is very hands on and builds trust in his students. Because of his teaching style, Ethan was able to find his toe edge and easily glided down the hill on his own without any help within 2 lessons! He has never been on a snowboard before! I would highly recommend these lessons to anyone!

Met Dave through Kijiji for tennis lessons and ended up not only having 30 lesson this summer but also worked for him this summer. I’m going into grade 12 now and I have to say Dave has helped me so much this summer. Between making me a better tennis player and teaching me so much at work about how things work and life in general. Overall he’s a great person and so happy I met him!

My kids and I are loving Snowboarding lessons with Dave! He’s extremely patient and super motivational! Customizes his approach based on what you need, which is super appreciated. Highly recommend!

We met Dave while tobogganing at Lindenwoods hill, contacted him via Instagram and was able to set up a lesson the next day. Dave is great with kids, he understands them, what level they are at and how to teach them. My 5 yr old son loved it so much that he made me want to try. Dave is an excellent teacher for adults as well. He explains and knows what each individual needs. He knows where your at and when you are ready for the next step. His patience is amazing! He’s open and honest and will answer your questions! Only regret, we didn’t start sooner this year, but, we look forward to next year!

I met Dave when I was purchasing a snowboard for my son. Got a great board and he threw in a lesson. I want to learn so I took the lesson. (I pride myself at being his oldest beginner student at 55.) He set me up with a board and made me feel super safe. I didn’t fall once on the first day. After 4 lessons I’m starting to learn turns. I would recommend Dave’s lessons for kids and adults. He teaches the skills that you need to go on the bigger hills with confidence and he keeps you safe!

Dave is an incredible snowboard instructor. My 10 year old son Ethan started at Lindenwoods last year and was going for 2 hour lessons every week. Dave made sure Ethan wasn't falling while he learned the basics of snowboarding. He then went to Springhill for a few lessons and then went to Asessippi. After two runs with Dave assisting him with his turns Ethan was able to do his turns on his own and could ride with confidence. Dave also took Ethan to the terrain park and taught him how to go on the rails and the box. Ethan went to Asessippi opening weekend and he was able to go straight to the chair lift and ride down like a pro. I can't thank Dave enough for what he has taught Ethan both on and off the hill!

Dave is a great, energetic guy. His love for snowboarding makes kids learning wanting to push to be better and better. From day 1 I just loved his energy. He pushed my kids to do better and that they did. I 100% recommend him if your just starting out or want to get more experience. Thanks for everything you do Dave. Can't wait for next winter.

Highly recommend services provided by Dave. Dave is so patient, encouraging and attentive with my son. Last year my son was lost with the loss of organized sports so we decided to let him try snowboarding with his free time. My son was a bit nervous with trying something new but fell in love with the sport. He excelled so much with the coaching and encouragement from Dave. Dave has so much energy and you can see how much Dave enjoys what he does. My son would have fun every lesson regardless of him leaving with a new skill or not. Dave does a great job with not only teaching the sport but also teach to build self confidence and courage while keeping in mind of educating on safety. Happy to say my son wanted to return to the sport this year!
