Very disappointed in the service. I went in to get my ring sized, I had said to the lady that one size felt too big while the other size down felt too small. She didn't say anything so I asked what size I should go with and she said the bigger one. That was the whole conversation. ZERO ADVICE. ZERO GUIDANCE. When I received it back it is still way too big. They also told my husband they may not be able to size it again because of the small band. When he asked them why they wouldn't mention the sizing issue when he purchased it the lady just shrugged. I still need it brought down a quarter size and now I'm not sure if they'll even do that. Very disappointed in their service, lack of communication, and knowledge of products. My husband spend a large amount of money on a ring with a life insurance plan they can't even uphold.

I don't know how they stay in business. A couple years ago, they had a sign out front advertising earrings. I thought they would make a great gift for my daughter's graduation, so I walked up to the two employees working behind the counter. I was the only customer in their store at the time, yet they kept talking about their personal lives for a couple minutes. I know they saw me because I was right next to the two of them. Finally, one of them asked me how they could help, and I asked if they could show me the earrings on sale. The worker told me that they were out of stock. This seemed strange since they had the portable sign out front and hadn't taken it down. Now, I wasn't wearing a suit as I'd been doing some yard work, so I looked like a working stiff. About half an hour later, I phoned them to ask if the earrings were in stock and they said they were! Needless to say, I didn't go back, and haven't been back since. I've heard from a couple other people that my experience wasn't entirely unique. In a small town like this, where word gets around, I'm shocked they're still in business with customer service like that.

VERY disappointed with their customer service. I don't write reviews but I can't stop thinking about how mad I am. I brought my Fossil watch to replace the battery because I thought a jewelry store could be better trusted. While the gal tried to tell me that my necklace was too long and tried to sell me a new one, the gentleman emerged from the back with my watch, smashed to smithereens.The thing that I am so repulsed by is the way he tried to tell me that I was so lucky he was going to send it to get fixed! And he won't even charge me for the repairs. Excuse me? Are you joking? His behaviour in the situation was completely inappropriate. I had only worn the watch a handful of times on special occasions, and I intended to wear it to a special occasion next week. And now I can't.This narcissistic condescending man seems to think I am lucky that he broke my watch and should be thankful he's going to have it fixed for free. He really ticked me off.I should have told him to his face but I was so blown away by the way he spoke to me that if I did I would have completely exploded and it wouldn't have been appropriate.I want to apologize in advance for being so rude with my review but I am going to send it anyways, because I hope it will make me feel better.I have many nice watches to wear, but this particular one was significant and now it's going to have a crappy Michael Hill crystal on its face and I will always be reminded of the smirk on that man's face whenever I wear it.

Absolutely love the people who work here! Been going here for years and they treat me like family and make every visit as comfortable as possible!

They said the rings (2) would take 12 days, but they kept them for over a month, then they rhodium dipped the wrong one, and charged over $200.They didn’t even fix the prongs on the one that needed to be fixed (and dipped)

Michael Hill eased all our wedding jewellery stresses. They were professional and helped ensure we got exactly what we were after. Furthermore, the promptness of the soldering and rhodium services was awesome! We had no stress wondering if our pieces would arrive on time. As well, the opportunity to pay for the pieces over time was appreciated.

Helpful and friendly associates, very impressed by the service and willingness to help find the right purchase without being pushy. No problems with bringing in pieces for service under warranty. Staff very committed to ensuring custom ordered pieces are exactly as expected. Would recommend this location to others.
