Villari's Self Defence Centers

For a while now I had been searching for a Martial Arts Centre to register my grandson to help improve his core strength, focus and balance. I visited and spoke with several instructors at different locations. When I spoke with Master Bartlett I was immediately impressed with his understanding of what I was looking for and why. I took the opportunity to register my grandson and also attend class with him. I couldn’t have made a better decision for both my grandson and myself. Master Bartlett has an ability to engage both young children and adults making the lessons engaging while learning the required skills. More importantly in the 2 months that we have been attending classes I have seen an improvement and the progress that my grandson has made is amazing. Not only that but I'm hooked and look forward to these classes every week. I would recommend to anyone that is interested or thinking of taking Martial Art’s class to contact Master Bartlett at Villari’s Ajax. It's worth it!

I have been attending Villari's martial arts centre for almost a year and I cannot think of a single complaint. The instructors are amazing and always take the time to make sure everyone is doing the exercise correctly. Since I started at Villari's i have noticed a tremendous improvement in my balance, coordination, and posture. I know I will continue training here for years to come and highly recommend this place for anyone who is interested in martial arts.

I have been attending the Villari's Martial Arts Centre in Ajax for almost a year now with my brother. We both love going. Ever since I started I have noticed small improvements in my daily life. My reflexes have gotten better, my posture has improved and it has given me more confidence as a person. The curriculum is really extensive because it covers aspects of various types of martial arts. It is however, very easy for beginners to learn and progress. The instructors are more than happy to show you everything they know and are very good at teaching you how to do everything properly. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. If you're interested in learning martial arts and self defence, I would highly recommend checking them out. My goal is to get my black belt but I know I will continue to go even after that!

Fantastic. Master Bartlett is an exceptional instructor. He has a great ability to teach martial arts and apply it to real world situations which makes it interesting and keeps his students engaged. Whether an adult or child I highly recommend Villari's Martial Arts Centers Ajax to get the most out of what Martial Arts can offer both physically and mentally. A truly worthwhile investment.

Instructors Rob and Nick are an awesome combination! Each one brings years of experience and expertise, each having their own style of teaching that together gives a complete, multi layered understanding not just of what to do but why you are doing it. Real life application for self defence! I have so much respect for their integrity, care and skills. My grandson started years ago with Villari’s Ajax, his mom is now going and I have been going there a few years myself. I highly recommend them!

We have spent the last 8 years at Vallari’s Ajax. Master Rob as a tough but, playful relationship with his students. He encourages growth and confidence. This is a great program for bullying. Master Rob works well with his special needs students.

My son was having behavioral issues before starting class with Master Rob, after only a month there has been a drastic, positive change in his attitude and attention span, and best of all he enjoys attending classes. Master Rob is very patient, understanding and well versed in dealing with, and teaching the younger students.

I have been through a few different martial arts school since my youth. I've taken a few different types of Karate and taekwondo but this is the only school I have stuck with for the last 8 years. There is always something new to learn and Master Bartlett offers so much in his teachings. He addresses each individual's needs and ensures everyone progresses at their pace. He shares so much information and encourages you to use what works best for you. Villari's martial arts offers a system that has no ceiling and we have access to so many other Master instrustors that learning here can be a life long experience. My daughter has been learning from Master Bartlett for the last 5 years as well and her confidence in her day to day life and accomplishments in school have also increased as a result of her training. I would highly recommend Villari's Martial Arts to anyone wanting to learn practical self defence.

Master Bartlett is an amazing teacher of adults and children. He knows how to connect martial arts teachings with our everyday lives.I came to Villari's without any martial arts background. Master Bartlett took me under his wing and helped me to feel comfortable immediately. Because of the success i have had with him , i have now brought my son, and will bring my daughters as soon as they are old enough. It has truly been a life changing experience- and i recommend Villari's Ajax to both the experienced and expert martial artists.

Robert is such a phenomenal instructor. He is fun, fair, and relatable for children and teens. Rob facilitated a workshop for me, and I am already eagerly booking another! You will not be disappointed. You can tell when someone does something for heart and not for money.
