My mother, who lives in a nursing home, and the other residents in her unit wanted a Maud Lewis print to frame and display in their common room. We ordered one online and arranged with Karen to ship it to her and have her frame it.When it arrived, it was not the correct print, plus it was rippled, thus not appropriate for putting under glass. Karen helped us find another (local) supplier for the proper print, which was a much better quality than the one we ordered on-line. She even arranged to have it picked up for us!She carefully explained all the options for framing and matting, sent us pictures with all the possibilities so that the residents could look them over and choose which options they wanted. The work was done quickly and perfectly and delivered to the front door of the nursing home, with detailed instructions on how to hang it.The residents and staff are so happy with the final product, it’s a beautiful addition to the room.

My late mother experimented with many different needle arts, including crewel embroidery. She stitched a beautiful Siamese cat on linen, which was in less than ideal condition by the time of her death. Karen did a lovely job of framing and protecting it for future generations and was so patient with me in working through the various options. I'm so pleased to have it hanging over my desk and looking at it every day!
