As someone who knows nothing about cards, I was pleasantly surprised to take my son here for some Pokemon cards. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and he was delighted to even get some freebies! The inside was clear, organized, and very spacious.

Great selection and friendly staff! They offered me about 20% value on the cards that I was looking to trade in towards another purchase. I've been buying and trading cards for many years, this is well below market norms. If you're are looking to trade in old stuff for store credit do your research and proceed with CAUTION.

Beautiful open space, unlike many game stores which feel dark and closed in in a tiny tiny room. Josh, the owner, is extremely kind and creates an inclusive environment so that people who may be new to a game feel comfortable and welcome. Also, he has just about every card you could ask for--its a lot of cards. All the staff are funny and cool to talk to as well. Also, Josh let us get married there ❤️

Hands down the best local game store in Halifax! They carry a wide variety of Magic and Pokemon, and Warhammer products, as well as video games and consoles, both old and new! Their prices are more than fair, and all of the employees are super nice and friendly. I’ve visited countless times and I cannot think of a single negative experience. If you’re looking for pokemon or magic cards, video games, or are looking to attend events, The Deck Box is the best place to go.

I’ve heard great things about this store and when I finally got to go it was all worth it. I’ve bought a Game boy advance SP and a PSP here, and the staff was really friendly and had good support and was ready to talk about any game at a moment’s notice. They have everything from NES to the Switch and games and accessories for each of them! All reasonably priced and in good condition too. They also have trading card games here too, so I’ll definitely come back here for that sometime. Overall, one of the best places in Atlantic Canada for Card games and Video games galore!!100/10, would definitely visit again. Great work guys.

Super friendly staff!! Very welcoming environment. Went in for the first time to purchase my first ever set of D&D dice(which are beautiful by the way), and the two people at the counter were so nice to talk to about it while I was checking out! Will definitely be returning for future D&D needs :)

I popped into the shop the weekend and dropped off some cards that had built up over the years. The team at Deck Box we're very friendly and offered reasonable prices in cash and even better deals for trade in credit! The shop also has a lot of really unique MTG and collectable items! Would 100% recommend checking this place!

Selling our old video game system and games for store credit was an easy and great experience. The staff here are super friendly, helpful and passionate about helping with any video game questions you might have. Even if you're not there to buy anything, it's fun to see all of the older games and consoles they have for sale.
