Ask for Maria! Today was my first service with her and she did a flawless job! She is gentle, efficient and highly skilled. I found my new nail tech!

Poor work. After taking a better look at my nails, the placement of the gel nails were off center and crooked. The polish was also uneven. I will not be returning to this location

Janet and Taylor were amazing! They were both very careful in removing my cuticles. I’d definitely book an appointment with them soon.

We loved our experience at the new Academy Almond Nail Bar!My daughter brought in a photo of the nails she hoped for, and the results were even better than we could have imagined. She also had a broken nail, which was fixed so well we couldn't even tell it had been ripped. She was so excited :)

I was so excited for this location to open. Inside is really bright, lovely and the people are very friendly. Location obviously for me living in River Heights is perfect.Why I gave 4 stars: I did not love the end result of my manicure, which ended up very iridescent versus the photo of inspo I shared, but that's partially on me. More so I do wish that they had non-magic non-shellac style polish at this location which they don't. I often prefer just regular ol' polish thats easy to remove on my toes. The Tuxedo location offers a broader polish array (and true OPI Shellac) and I wish they did here too :(

My daughter and I went for Mani's and Pedi's this past weekend. The space was clean, bright and comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and attentive. I didn't feel rushed, despite being busy, which was refreshing for a nail salon! The services were lovely. I however wasn't pleased the first time around with the outcome of my Almond Gel extensions; to no fault of the technician. She was new, and still learning. I was seeking a natural look, which wasn't quite what I left with. Despite my reluctance 'complaining,' I felt it best to bring my displeasure to the Managers attention, via email. She was quick to respond eager to right the situation. She wanted to ensure the service I had purchased exceeded expectations and quickly arranged to re-do them herself, at no charge. THEY ARE PERFECT, and I couldn't be happier. Jan, you will undoubtedly have my repeat and referral business! Thanks again Almond, on Academy!
