Penticton Ikeda Japanese Garden
A must visit if you are in the area. Although the garden is not that big, it has a wide variety of plants, trees, etc. The pond in the middle is very relaxing. Make sure you grab some coffee or tea before coming here and enjoy a peaceful afternoon while visiting. Despite coming on winter time, the garden looked very well maintained. Kudos to the staff for keeping this place clean!

Very pretty, and so peaceful. The koi are impressive. The blossoms are already so plentiful, the air is thick with their fragrance.

This garden is created to commemorate the sister city status of both Penticton British Columbia and the city of Ikeda in Osaka, Japan. It is a peaceful place to enjoy personal reflection and the beautiful back drop of Okanagan Lake. I genuinely enjoy my visit in this twilight today.

Penticton Ikeda Japanese Garden
The garden is named after Penticton's sister city Ikeda, Japan. It is a garden among the beach front parks and beaches along the scenic Okanagan Lake, which is located right downtown. The garden shares the location with the Penticton Art Gallery.A beautiful place for all seasons. There is a lot to see in this short and very walk-able relaxing tour.

Sorry for the kind of trash photos but this place is actually really nice. I expected it to be different and bigger but it’s still nice. You just walk in look around and walk out, not a lot to do but it’s a pretty place. Koi was really cute too.

Penticton Ikeda Japanese Garden
A small but relaxing place to drift off and calm yourself. There are a handful of shrubs, trees and lanterns to enjoy. Not manytraditional features though. The koi all gathered in a corner - maybe waiting for food? The gentle sounds of the lake also contributed to a relaxing environment.

On a hot Okanagan day it was a wonderful place to visit. It's free. Shady pathways to linger in. Beautiful Koi Pond. Afterwards we visited the Art Gallery that shares the parking lot.

Pretty garden in the middle of a small city right next to a lake. We went in early spring just before the bidding of the plants and it was still quite nice. There is a large koi pond with a few water features and art installations.
