Very professional and friendly staff i have ever met. Always consider the customer first. I transferred all my accounts into here because nobody suggested me at the better interest rate like here.

I visited to open TFSA account and got helped by Hyunah Jang. She explained me what is the best way to invest and how it work. I actually go to this branch a lot because it's the closest one from my place and i never get disappointed. Nice underground free parking, clean space and perfect customer service.

Horrible attitude toward customers...I once talked with the branch manager there about getting a mortgage. He was so arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. Not recommend to deal with this kind of foreign bank.

Don’t do mortgage with them!!!!Don’t do mortgage with them!!!!Don’t do mortgage with them!!!!They have no qualms about canceling your term as soon as you secure a low rate. If I had the option, I would give them a solid 0 rating. In May, I committed to a mortgage rate of 4.8% with them. However, towards the end of June, we were taken aback when they sent us an email notifying us of the cancellation of our term. Their reasoning? They failed to anticipate the Bank of Canada's interest rate decision in June, resulting in unforeseen funding costs for them.With only one month left before our closing date, we are now forced to redo our mortgage at a significantly higher rate of over 6%. Why should customers bear the burden of Shinhan Bank's incompetence in assessing the situation? It's utterly unacceptable. Even my broker, who boasts over 10 years of experience, admitted to never encountering such a situation before.

I've been going to the bank since 2014, and They always been friendly, and the customer service is very professional. Strongly recommended.

I called today to get information on foreign exchange, but I was told that I was asking too many questions, and the woman who answered the phone abruptly ended the call after 7 minutes saying she had to service other customers, before I could get the answers I called for. Unfortunately I could not find the number to a call centre for this bank and the branch seems to be severely under staffed. Based on this experience I will take my business else where.

I visited this bank to open an account without an appoinment, but I didn't wait long time. I asked a few questions about the opened account, but the staff responded kindly without any sign of annoyance! If something happens next time, I think I will visit Shinhan Bank Thornhill branch again!
