Steenwyk used to be a 5 star when Johan made the shoes himself, but since these duties have been delegated to Dan, the results have been painful, both literally and figuratively. If you are a diabet, like myself, looking for a pair of custm shoes, you might want to keep looking, unless you don't mind being part of the training regimen. The pair I got a year ago have barely been on my feet for 1/3 of the time they should have been, and the times I did wear them have resulted in numerous occasions of required medical attention including the amputation of one toe. Therefore I am now in search of a nre source rather than risk any further toes.
