The pastries were great, inexpensive and round price. They have a plaque explaining the have the guiness record for longest donut (unless i remember wrong)

Always a pleasent place to stop in at. The baking is amazing and some of the best donuts in town. Highly recommend to those who haven't been there.

I have always loved the donuts at Nester’s bakery ever since I was a kid! They were just as delicious as I remember them from the 80’s. I decided to stop by on a Saturday afternoon around 4:20. They were getting renovations done, so it was a little noisy and smelly inside. Despite the noise and smell, the service was very good. The lady at the counter was patient and kind. I wanted to note my time of arrival, simply because at this hour, the donuts for 30% off. Yippee!!! As you enter the store, it’s not a very big area but upon arrival, there’s a section with discounted buns and bread along with day-old donuts. I bought them along with the fresh ones and believe it or not my boys loved the day old ones just as much as the fresh ones. You can get a bag of four donuts for two dollars. I believe my total was a little over $12 with a discount I am paying paying $8.00!!!! Support local!!!

I have been going to Nesters Bakery, as well as my mother, at least 40 years. I have been out of town for quite a while, looking after family. Coming into Saskatoon, I stopped at Nesters Bakery for flaxseed cookies. I have always got them there, I was surprised that the staff who were sitting at the counter didn't know what I was talking about. Being a diabetic, I am very limited on baking treats. They shrugged their shoulders when I asked what cookies or squares where low in sugar. Disappointing, the staff in the past always had good knowledgeof the baking. I left empty handed, won't be back.

This is one of the most poorly run businesses in the city. On numerous occasions I have tried to place orders and they never get them of they screw them up, don’t answer the texts, phone calls, when you walk in it takes forever to get acknowledged. I have given them numerous chances to make it right and they can’t. It’s also incredibly dirty in there. Poor customer service!!!

I usually come here for fresh donuts and bread, I have always had friendly service except for today. Today I came in and decided to rush out the door. I asked the lady for a minute because it was my moms first time in there and she wanted to take a look at the items before we ordered. The lady replied with “I don’t have a minute”. Absolutely awful customer service. If she doesn’t have a minute for me then she will not be getting my money. There are many other ways she could have handled this situation. Unbelievable.

I've been here many times through the years and it was always a great experience with great baking. My last visit though was not the best I was shocked at the lady working there. Her customer service was horrendous, even yelling across the store accusing an elderly customer of not paying. When in reality she just wasn't reading her own point of sale correctly. I had someone with me from out of province and was excited to show off this treasure. It was embarrassing and I will definitely not be back.
