I only needed simple alterations done on my dress, but Maisoon was amazing and reasonably priced and the work done was amazing, efficient no complaints! She sped up the process when covid started happening so my dress was ready early for pickup! highly recommend!

I was amazed by the quality of work that Maisoon put into my dress. She made recommendations that I never would have thought of but never pressured me to go beyond what my vision was. This is the only place in Calgary to trust your bridal alterations with!

I cannot recommend Maisoon enough!! From our first meeting to fixing my dress after the wedding, Maisoon was amazing. She is truly talented at what she does!! I bought a consignment wedding dress and it was 3 sizes too big. But to top it off the whole top was delicate bead work. I still don't know how she was able to take so much material out and have the top still look stunning. My dress fit like a glove. And her prices are very fair, especially for the quality of work she does. My wedding day was one of the most special days of my life and she truly helped me feel like a princess. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Maisoon is truly amazing and I cannot recommend her enough! She really did an amazing job with altering my dress! She did a very unique ballroom bustle that really made my dress look so gorgeous! She was very helpful with suggestions as I do not know a lot about dresses :) Truly could not recommend her enough, thanks for all your help and making my dress so beautiful!

If you are looking for someone to design or alter your event/wedding dress, look no further. I am convinced Maisoon is the best there is! She was recommended to me by the owner of Pearl & Dot, and to this day I am so grateful that she pointed me in the right direction. Maisoon is an expert with fabric and meticulous at what she does. She cares about her customer's happiness and will work hard to make sure that you have the perfect fit for your day. I had lost weight leading up to my wedding, and Maisoon resized my dress 2x just to make sure that it was perfect. She knew exactly the best place to take it in, so not to alter the look of the dress and the placement of the lace. She also hemmed the front of my dress to perfection, but, only tacked the 3 layers at the back of the dress, as per my request. Maisoon provides her brides with years of wisdom of working with all kinds of dresses and fabrics, but, is still happy to accommodate the individual wants and needs of each bride she works with. She is sweet, humble, and knows how to make you feel both comfortable and beautiful! I will 100% choose Maisoon again for any special occasion dress, and highly recommend her to all ladies looking for a professional dress designer/maker!

Maisoon is absolutely amazing!!! I went to her to get my wedding dress altered. My dress has lots of beading and lace, and she made my dress look even more beautiful than I thought possible. I can’t thank her enough for the amazing work she’s done for me.

Pandemic bride here! Between when I bought my gown and the wedding, almost 3 years had passed (and I was starting to consider buying a new dress).Maisoon made me fall in love with my gown again. She did some re-design and made it fit like a glove.My mom lives out of province so I went to most appointments alone. Maisoon made me feel so supported throughout the entire process <3If youre unsure who trust with your the dress you, stop looking. Maisoon works magic!

I would like to share my experience with Maisoon. We found her at first very rude. We stood outside the front door as it was locked thinking that she was finishing up with a customer and then she opened it blaming us that we were late. She then was free cutting with scissors the bottom of my dress. I asked if she could maybe pin it and she snapped back saying she has been doing this for 25 years and I needed to trust her. So I did. On my next fitting the bottom of my dress was cut very jagged and all different layers. I asked why it’s uneven and she told me it’s never even and my dress came uneven. Even though my train all my layers were even. She then started to cut more off my dress and I asked her to please stop as I said it was a good length and she was making it uneven on one side. I asked if we could measure each side of the dress so that they are even and she said no it’s not possible to measure the sides…we took my dress home and my mom had to fix the bottom. I had such a bad experience with her and I found her to be very unkind. I would not recommend any bride going to her.

Maisoon did a wonderful job on my wedding gown and I would recommend her to anyone looking for bridal alterations. She had limited time to do the alterations as my gown arrived very late, but she worked overtime to get it done, kept me updated throughout the process, and put so much care into making sure it was perfect.
