Petite Joie Puppies is mother-daughter breeders that is a complete joy to work with. On visiting their home in a rural area, all was clean and the dogs and puppies very well cared for. Shelly and Kelly had us meet the several breeds of dogs and guided us in selecting a puppy who is so happy, playful, sweet and responsive. She is a 3 month old havaton. She slept through the night in her crate from day one with just occasional whimpers. She adjusted well to going potty in our fenced yard and was used to the pee pad indoors. She is happy to meet new people and the neighbors big dog across the fence. Shelly and Kelly, the owners, care deeply for the dogs and puppies they raise and also for those folks who will take a puppy home. The breeders are very knowledgeable about ways to acclimate the new puppies and are always there for the new puppy moms and dads. We recommend them very highly!! Love our sweet addition!

As first time dog parents, we were looking for an easy, small, and friendly breed and we came across the Havapoo! We adopted Cookie (now Chef) at 10 weeks from Shelly this past June. She sent us all the papers, information, and answered all of our questions. She dropped him off at the airport with a goodie bag of must haves. Chef did very well on the flight home to LA! Since then, he’s been in puppy classes and has grown to be the sweetest, funniest, and friendliest pup.At 4.5 months (and 5 lbs), he knows his basic commands well, is progressing in his potty training, and has slept through the night in his crate since day 1! He’s confident and brave and has done well with meeting other pups of different sizes. He’s definitely a playful dude! During his unvaxxed days, he did enjoy his stroller and still enjoys being carried in his sling. Thanks so much Shelly, he really has been the best pup!

Shelly is amazing to work with and has wonderful dogs! My husband and I traveled from VA to pick up our Lucy (Pooton). Lucy is the sweetest puppy and incredibly smart. We got her to help with the grieving process of losing our 17 year old dog in January and it was the best decision ever. I texted Shelly at 9:30pm on a Sunday and she responded right away in regards to my inquiry about Lucy (formerly known as Candle). She sent me more pictures and videos and I could tell that she loved and cared for all of her dogs immensely. We were on our way to Michigan a couple of days later. We have had Lucy for 6 weeks now and are already thinking about getting another Pooton from Shelly.

I took my 6 month old POOTON to my mother’s hair appointment and everyone LOVED her! She was calm, friendly, and learning socialization skills immediately! One customer insisted I not.leave before she got information for a possible puppy from Shelly! We’re in love with Abby and highly recommend others look into Shelly’s puppies!

The breeder, Shelly is so good to her dogs and she is an excellent communicator! Sends you lots of pics snd videos of your pup and provides professional documents. Our pooch is everything we wanted in a sweet little puppy!

We got our dog from this place 5 years ago. She does a great job with the puppies and the sale of them. They are very well taken care of and our dog is fantastic. They make sure they are healthy and get all the veterinary assistance they need. I cannot recommend them enough.

Petite Joie Puppies was a wonderful breeder to get our puppy, Luna. After I paid my deposit, Shelley sent videos of Luna quite often as she grew old enough to leave her mama. She also gave me a packet full of info, records of Luna’s vet visits, vaccinations, fecal matter tests, and weights, etc. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a sweet companion!

Shelly is great! You can tell she cares about her puppies. We bought our PooTon Jerry from her in 2020. He is the best boy. His personality is great and he has been very healthy.

I had been looking for a puppy since last year. When I found Shelley, everything really just fell into place. From our first call she was lovely and gracious. We talked about my plans to take care of her pup. I drove out to the farm to see all the puppers. Off top, her house is immaculate. The pups and other dogs are clean and happy. It's clear they are cared for and well socialized. After I choose a fur baby, she allowed me to leave him with her for a few weeks as I had previous travel plans. When I finally picked Biscuit up, she gave us SO much stuff, kibble, bully stick, toys (good toys), a few pee pads . . . i feel like there was more . . . Anyhoo, she is an angel. When Bscuit got low blood sugar from barely eating, she walked me through raising his blood sugar and getting some OTC meds to settle his tummy. I can't even tell you how clutch this is when you're sobbing into your pup's fur. She is generous with her time and has given great potty and treat advice, among other various and sundry topics. This kind of support during my first week home was priceless as this was my first pup. Best breeder I have researched within 6 hours of Chicago for sure. Adoption fees are also really reasonable. I adopted Finley at the end of May from Shelly at Petite Joie Puppies. Shelly was wonderful to work with from day one. I chose my sweet pup the day she was born and Shelly never hesitated to send me an update when I asked for one. It was wonderful to get to see my puppy grow up before the time I was able to pick her up (and meet her in person for the first time). I flew to Michigan to pick up Finley and she did amazing in her carrier on the plane, thanks to Shelly providing her lots of exposure to car rides. It was clear upon taking home that Shelly had well socialized her around other puppies, dogs, and people which was also evident in the many videos I received during the first 8 weeks of her life. Finley adjusted very quickly to being in my home and has slept through the night every night. She is VERY easy to train and has such a calm temperament (Miss Nomer and Sir Rocco’s litter). I have absolutely loved every moment with my havapoo and can not thank Shelly enough for such a wonderful experience and for all of the help she has provided along the way!
