Excellent service - I've been taking my farm equipment and auto stuff here for a few years. Fast, good quality, fair prices. I've had two especially helpful instances here: i) Needed a unique generator for an old tractor - the dealers and online discussions all indicated only two options: Buy the original from New Holland, shipping from overseas for a crazy price, or go with a cheaper aftermarket one that didn't have the tachometer drive. Allen's found an aftermarket one with a tach drive for a fraction of the dealer price, and also had it within a few days. ii) The alternator of a friend's van died the day before Christmas Eve, when they were planning on taking it on vacation on boxing day. Couldn't find a new one in-stock anywhere. Took the old one here, explained the situation, and he had it rebuilt within a couple of hours.

Fixed my alternator within a few hours! Allen was nice and honest, he explained to me what work he performed, and he even did a little extra work than what he quoted me for without charging more than the original estimate. Awesome people to work with. I dropped off an alternator to be rebuilt for my 1982 Checker. They communicated clearly with me the estimated time to get it worked on. They did a great job on it, looks great, and it works. Was a painless transaction.

I highly recommend Allen's to anyone that needs an alternator or starter redone. 1/3 of the cost of a new one with a very quick turnaround. They converted a 12 volt alternator to 16 volt for my racecar. Thanks Allen's!
