Really unfortunate experience. We had 2 breakfast wraps and the bagel bomb to go. The breakfast wraps were soggy and had very little flavour, and the bagel bomb had almost no filling inside - it was mostly dough. We ended up tossing the vast majority of everything away. We've been many times in the past and have really enjoyed what we have ordered - the breakfast sandwich was delicious but is longer on the menu apparently.Unlikely to return.

Tucked away in Epcor Tower, MilkCrate has amazing sandwiches. They also serve tons of great pastries. The cinnamon buns are huge and filled with icing. They also serve breakfast. A great place to grab and go.

Tasty! Great coffee, on-site baking, and lunches. I had a muffin and the pasta bake. Both were really good. Nice people too!Update 2022: I had a burger. It was so good I didn't want it to end. It was a perfect balance of caramelized beef patty, soft bun, lightly crisp onion ring, and sauces or spices...my mouth was too happy to care which was which. Perfection.

Nice hearty sandwiches, expected more of a gourmet variety after the Characters influence of the famed chef, but overall a good experience, staff is hands on and the long line was brisk without the unintended consequences.

This is a fantastic lunch place! The bread is so fresh and the sandwich I ordered set a new standard. I also had a tomato soup that had a lot of depth and flavor. You can tell there is a lot of time, care and effort that goes into the food preparation. I will go back as soon as I can.

Had the Grilled Cheese sandwich for lunch. Very delicious. I like the fact that a lot of the stuff seems to be local. I love the variety of stuff that you can buy to take home, such as different types of salt and frozen green onion cake! Would recommend to everyone.

If you are ever looking for a quick bite to eat downtown and don’t want to settle for sub par food, MilkCrate is very worth it! Fantastic food and even better staff - their team is always a pleasure to interact with. I would rate a 10/10 if I could! :)

I came here for lunch and and ordered the Cubano sandwich and chocolate peanut butter square. Both were good. The Cubano could have been toasted longer and the square was on the small side. The quality and taste was fine but was not outstanding. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a nice place but nothing stood out in my mind that would make me return as I felt it was somewhat pricey for what you get.
