On the first part of trail it was wonderful,clearly marked (although with green paint??) The way back was a disaster, no green markings,got lost a few times.

This is a fantastic hike alongside the river. The terrain is varied ranging from easy to pretty challenging. You can do a loop along one.side of the river and back on the other bit set aside the better part of the day to do so.

Bighead River Conservation Area
Easy trail... we did the green, easy trail. Beautiful views on the river. Trail is 14 km one-way, and the ruins are at the far end. There is also a moderate trail on the other side of the river, but we couldn't find the trailhead. The ruins are on the other side of the river.

A bit mucky in spring. But a great walk for all ages and a nice trail run. And changes through the year, so different every time you go.A reminder, always bring a friend. It's not a tricky trail, but things can happen.

It was gorgeous .. even in winter with barely kept trails it was incredible I love nature and outdoorsy spots and this is a fantastic spot.Different levels of hiking trails makes it a fantastic spot even for newbies..This was my first time here I will be back . It's beautiful.

We love living beside this beautiful conservation land. Awesome trails on either side of the river that we hike year-round. Beautiful forest and atmosphere if you're looking to get out into nature.

Bighead River Conservation Area
Absolutely beautiful area to take a hike, great fishing especially this time of year. Lots of tall bluffs and cliffs to get some amazing views theres photos are one concession up from the conservation area on Line 7. But the bruce trail goes for a long while im sure there are plenty of great spots to check out!
