The Small engine guy

BEWARE of MIKE The small engine guy!!!!!!I met Mike here on Facebook back at the beginning of August 2021, I was asking for help with my boat motor and Mike contacted me. We discussed my motor problems and Mike went to my boat to look at what we had discussed in our phone conversation. Mike called me to inform me of the issues, I paid Mike $100.00 Etransfer for his visit diagnoses and one minor cable adjustment. I also gave Mike the job of fixing the damage to my motor, I told Mike to figure out what parts he needed order them, and when he had a total for the parts I would send him the money plus the tax ,again Etransfer of $672.35.Now Oct 8 2021 , no repairs no parts no texts no phone and no Mike. Mike has dodged my requests for information, time lines . My last contact was Mike telling me again just how busy he is , to busy to answer a text . So now I asked him to return all the parts he said" he had

I have never left a review like this before but I felt compelled too as I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I would not recommend this guy for anything. He makes appointments and then changes them or just shows up when he wants. He has no place to take your engine and repair it, so he comes out to diagnosis the problem and then goes home to order the parts and then he's suppose to come back and fix it. Unfortunately, in our case, he never returned even though he made two appointments with us and kept us waiting.He talks a good story but that's about it. Honesty and dependability is essential in business. Be very careful.
