Harbour Light Motel
Does the job and close to the ferry service! They allowed early check in and are flexible. Some patrons are loud so that wasn't pleasant overall..

Harbour Light Motel
I stayed at the Harbour Light Motel in Nanaimo for one night twice. I think the rooms are very nice, clean and big with some new interior. It has a lot of usb slots and enough space. The motel is directly located at the street and you can reach downtown Nanaimo in about 15 minutes. The rooms getting very warm at night.

Discusting place. Rooms are filled with cigarette and pot smoke. We paid but got to our room and decided not to stay as we got in the room. Couldn't get our money back, and we didn't even stay. Be careful when going there.

Strong smell emanating from dirty stained carpet.Literally not suitable for spending a night.I slept in my car after paying 127 dollar.

Where do I begin, first of all I was visiting my friend who came from ot of town she had her boys a one if the girlfriends so total of 4 people which was included in the price of her stay but to her astonishment they charged her another amount for an extra person .then when she asked for a cot for one if the boys they didn't have one. That's just that end , the rooms are not very sound proof and her TV didn't work. And they charged extra for Christmas day and one for 4 people. Do not recommend this place at all

Friendly and courteous staff on check in and check out. Disappointed we didn’t get our requested style of stay and had to stay above the office where it was fairly non-stop of chitter chatter.

Harbour Light Motel
We stayed in a double queen room for one night only. The room was clean and pleasant, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. We did not have any reason to make special requests or have the room cleaned, so I can't speak to those services. I do think the price is a bit steep for a motel, however perhaps there were other services we could have utilized if we had stayed longer. Its not a problem unique to this motel, it seems there are no places anywhere anymore that are cheap. All in all we were quite satisfied with our stay and would stay here again.

A nice motel with everything you need. The host will allow you to check in early, this is good. The host is nice.
