The Home Instead Care Team took loving care of our great-grandmother during the last few years. It was very comforting to read the notes they left and knowing they were there for her when her family couldn’t (especially in recent months during to the pandemic). The care team is compassionate and communication with family is excellent. We would highly recommend Home Instead for families looking for extra care for their loved ones.

The coordinator was very accommodating and understanding. Companions were found quickly for the night shift. All 3 companions were kind and professional. My Dad liked all of them. They came as assigned and did everything we asked of them. Very trustworthy and willing to help. Would highly recommend Home Instead.

We were very happy with the care from Home Instead in Winnipeg!The company is very flexible, has on call staff to help out with my multiple phone calls on weekends as my mom’s needs kept changing and they were very flexible to change hours and shifts even on the weekend as her needs changed. It was very comforting to know that mom was being well cared for when our family couldn’t be with her, and we were able to get Home Instead urgently when she was first in Emergency and they couldn’t admit her due to no beds but she couldn’t go home alone. When she had to go back to hospital, we kept Home Instead workers overnight to care for her at the hospital as the hospital is so short staffed and we were very comforted to know that she would have their care.We wanted to get her out of hospital as soon as she medically was able, but she still couldn’t live alone but hospital homecare system refused to provide any help, so again Home Instead came urgently to the rescue! Most of the staff my mom really liked; there were 1 or 2 that weren’t the best fit (very nice and capable so not sure why - I guess not everyone can be a great fit) so Home Instead was very accommodating with changing staff on request even on short notice. If we ever need help again, for sure we will use this company (but hopefully won’t have the need!)

Home Instead has wonderful care pros who are compassionate and caring. Home Instead took care of my brother for many years. The care pros assigned to him were always thoughtful and gentle with his care. I would recommend Home Instead Winnipeg for all your loved ones needs

My family hired Homeinstead after my father was very suddenly widowed. Not only did we need assistance for him, we needed help that was sensitive to our tragic and stressful situation. Julie came to our house and listened to our needs and set up care that was perfectly suited. When some of the needs changed they acted quickly to meet them. My father has now moved to a retirement home where they provide the care he was getting from Homeinstead. However, should he require more care than they can provide Homeinstead will be the first people I call. All of the staff is helpful and wonderful. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

The personal care Home Instead gives to my grandfather always exceeds our expectations. They go above and beyond and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for additional care for a loved one.

We recently used Home Instead for two separate services. One was an elderly parent requiring extensive in-home palliative care, with WRHA involvement. The second was companion care for an elderly parent housed in a nursing home. In both cases the experience was very good. The care staff were very compassionate and reliable. Administration staff were flexible and caring as well.

I’ve been working for Home Instead for nearly a year now and can honestly say that they are the best company I have ever worked for! They’re very accommodating and treat their staff incredibly well. I feel so lucky to have started my career with Home Instead and look forward to the future with them! :)

My experience with Home Instead was truly amazing! I called Jojo on the weekend and collected valuable information and made an appointment with him. Jojo is very knowledgeable and accommodating in my up and down situation. With his years of experience he understands families and older adults very well.If you want to have a company support you and your situation that have people who have strong integrity, honesty, knowledge, are personable and are understanding Jojo and Home Instead are who you need in you life.
