Nice Try) Just went to this pawn shop tried to sell a laptop when I build computers for a living he tried convincing me the laptop was broken when it started & I explained it retails for $800 he found the cheapest selling laptop on eBay (same model) tried convincing me it was only worth $150, I called him out in ripping me off since I have the eBay app and it clearly shows they sell for $600. Him & 2 other guys followed me & my girlfriend outside & he punched me in the face I was assaulted by the Owner. Be careful in this place!!!!

i am an identical twin. we are both 32 years of age. He sold all of my sister sentimental jewelry. from grandparents who have passed on and put it in the glass and up the price by 500 dollars. He always sends notices to people or we were even so close he would call my fathers phone to let us know we have to come get are stuff soon. And we did that for a long time. And than he sold all of my sisters stuff and about a 3000 dollars diamond bracelet. but he gained are trust and did that. My sister was so mad she gave him a bad review which i am too now doing because of my new experience with him. I walked in about 2 years later not knowing my sister gave him a bad review but that's what the reviews are there to write about your experience. so he decided he didn't want my business for a review my sister wrote. we are 2 different people. The discrimination was horrible! I was in shock! He is a horrible mean person. He makes you feel close to him and as soon as you let your guard down he will take all of your stuff. He was also heard of taking people real diamonds out and putting in his own. and you have no idea your isnt real. until i got my jewelry appraised. Stay far away from there he will take advantage.They have great ones downtown !If you read this guys reviews! Its REALLY SCARY. Should of checked these before I went there.

The owner before my time was up he already gone and sold also with my sisters 2000$ bracelet. He's a con artist. I believe he takes the real diamond and put not so great diamonds back iin

This is the best Pawn Shop you will find anywhere in the GTA, not only is the Gentleman always super nice and ensures he does the best possible service for you. He will try and give you the best rate and unlike many other places you have a year to come and get your item back. He also will place reminder calls and sends letters to let you know your items will be due in approx 30days. I recommend this place to anyone hands downs and no way he would ever alter jewelry I trust him with all my jewels. I believe the negative reviews have been placed by not so nice people who have been exposed with fake jewels cause the man or they have the wrong pawnshop. Best Place Ever

Best rates along danforth to pawn something. Good selection of gold but not too much merchandise but CANNOT be beat for pawn rates. Very friendly and helpful

Whether buying, selling or in need of a a loan via pawn in my opinion the owner of the Pawn Shop on Danforth is always very fair and honest. It is always my first stop when I'm looking for a new piece of jewelry or a video game for the kids. My husband loves going in to check out the tools and much to my dismay always leaves with a new toy.I've never written a review before be it a horrible or exceptional experience with a business. After years of great deals and service I felt it necessary to spread the word of this awesome establishment found right in the heart of our one of a kind neighbourhood. Happy shopping.

THIS GUY WILL RIP YOU OFF! DO NOT GO! I asked how much i could get for my 10k Golg diamond versace ring worth $1400 he offered only $100! Even Money Mart offered over $200 for just the gold alone if i took out and kept the diamonds. VERY DISHONEST OWNER!!!

Been coming here for a few years and his prices are reasonable and if you’re late on any of your fees he always works with you and won’t take your items!

I have come here to purchase items over the years, chiefly gold and diamond jewelry as well as some tools.The things I have gotten from him were very fairly priced.I find Hugh to be very honest, fair and easy to deal with.I don’t typically frequent pawn shops but have been a loyal customer for many years.
