The arena is certainly adequate, but the lot has serious issues. The entrance of New Street is inadequately indicated and there is no lit signage nor lights to indicate the entrance, despite being visited outside daylight hours by so many people. Additionally the exit to turn west is neither lit nor adequately signed. A minor investment in these would erase a lot of frustrations.

Love nelson park! The skate park is more gentle then some of the other ones so kids who are less confident do well. The park is great. Love that the bmx course is there too. And of course we adore the pool and splash pad area

Great for tobogganing, their park, swings are also great. They have dirt bike small hills too. Skate boarding area(ramps). A pool too with minor fee.

What a great place for kids and parents! The big kids had a blast on the dirt bike Ramps while the little ones played on the playground. Then we went into the pool area to cool off. The splash pad has a playground also attached and a huge dumper bucket the kids, young and old, really enjoyed. The pool itself is heated and very comfortable, lots of deck space and food is allowed. My oldest ones were able to swim on their own and really enjoyed the spring boards and climbing wall in the deep end. Fantastic place! We need more of these!

Nelson park is great for little and bigger kids. Ramp means little ones can easily go up to slides. Only downside are the rocks which are small and get into sandals and shoes, but if your kids love rocks this place will be great. Nearby is a creek which is great for kids (supervised) to go explore and throw stones in the water. We spend hours here.

Great park, lots to do and play. In our Nelson park we have baseball fields, soccer field, open swimming pool, tennis court, football field. Our bike path going through Nelson Park takes you all the way to downtown Burlington in the nice relaxing pathways. Give it a go and try everything available to us.

Nelson pool is clean and the water temperature is absolutely great. It is a fantastic location to cool off on these hot summer days. There are lots of shady areas to sit and relax, and the splash pad is super fun!
